considering our shortage of strikers hes still a useful player to have in squad and would any fee we got for him go towards another striker

Kevin Davies lost his legs for the PL about 2 years ago! But he is one of the last real men in modern Football and a BWFC legend. Maybe we owe it to him to let him end his career at the Reebok?! We could use the money though if Sunderland are willing to buy! According to Twitter (not the best source I know) the deal is dead anyway.

We don't owe Kevin Davies anything. We've made him a rich man already.

We have played far better with him on the bench
