I'm scared that Gartside is lining him up to replace Coyle in the summer. Now that is a scary thought. Surely he wouldn't, would he?

My weekend was bad enough after that shite yesterday but the thought of that has just sent a shiver down my spine.

You never get a second chance to make a first impression, so just give the twat a good shoeing, he'll respect you.

I don't respect Sammy Lee because he is like 5'3 and the way he treat Ricky Sbaargia or whatever he was called. But was Sammy Lee that bad a manager? He came in after Big Sam inheriting a team that was totally past it, we were really struggling at that time. Sammy Lee's signings were pretty poor but h was given a pittance to spend. He only spent about £5m to bring in about 8 players. He signed players like Andy O'Brien, Braaten, Helguson, Gavin McCann, Alonso (Xabi's brother) on loan, Wilhelmson on loan, Harsanyi, also came in at the time were signings signed by Big Sam - Jlloyd Samuel, El Cid and Dzamaeli. If he was manager now would he be any worse than Coyle? I don't think so. I don't think Sammy Lee was given a fair crack at things but he came across so badly. He seemed to suffer from Little Man Syndrome, an illness where small men feel that their masculinity is undermined by their shocking lack of inches - so have a chip on their shoulder and boss people about.

Lee was so bad he made even Megson look good. He tried to change everything, including the name of some room or something, but he really didn't know what he was doing. He has had no management experience since so why would he be any better now? He would be worse than Coyle.

Bolton Wanderers have confirmed Sammy Lee has returned to the club, occupying the position of Head of Academy Coaching.
Lee initially joined Wanderers as a player in 1990 as he brought his playing career to a close at Burnden Park.
He returned to the club in the summer of 2005 as assistant to Sam Allardyce, before taking over the managerial hotseat in April 2007.
His tenure at the Reebok Stadium lasted just six months, however, and he was sacked the following October.
The 53-year-old's latest role at the Reebok will see him work alongside Jimmy Phillips as the club look to improve the output of their academy system.
Speaking about Lee's return to Bolton, Trotters boss Owen Coyle believes the move will benefit the club in the long-term.
"I know Sammy will bring a great deal of top level coaching experience and a great deal of enthusiasm, and that can only be of huge benefit for our youth players," Coyle told the club's official website.
Academy Director, Phillips, also backed the appointment and admits he is looking forward to working with the former Liverpool assistant.
"I am really delighted to have Sammy back as part of the team at Bolton Wanderers," Phillips said.
"He will be Head of Academy Coaching and will bring his considerable experience to this new role, which can only benefit our youth system as we look to build on and improve the progress made so far in the Academy."

Let's hope that starting this weekend Coyle is seen wearing a hands free headset, hooked up to Lee, who will be giving him coaching instructions.

Lee started the process of destroying everything Allardyce had built up even if Megson finished the job.

Sammy Lee is one of the worst managers in PL history, BUT he is a very very good coach and a nice guy as well.
Welcome back Sammy!
