Yeah Mavies is seeming to link up very well with N'Gog from his more attacking role, and we seem to be more creative. However, we have never really had a problem with scoring goals it has just been keeping them out. Just a quick point on Muamba, I really like the fact that now he's been playing with Reo-Coker he has been given the chance to get forward more. His passing was very good on Saturday and his powerful runs back and forth are good to see now. He's almost turned into our Yaya Toure! Haha

You mean just because he's tall and black?

I'm disgusted.

Newcastle are interested in making a summer move for Davies according to reports up there.

I can't see him playing in the championship next season.

Relegation = losing Mavies for sure. However, if we keep hold of LCY and Stu (and keep them fit), we'll have a very strong midfield in the Championship next season regardless.

World cup qualifying begins in the late spring early summer for concacaf
Holden is very highly rater by Klinsmen
Holden will get quite a bit of playing time and be quite visible in the US national team as a play maker
If we go down I dont see Holden staying

Mark Davies and Holden are both under contract. If we go down it'll be up to the club if they want to sell them.

Holden will be worth 5 mil or so
Mavies at least the same or a little more

Maybe we'd want to keep them though. Who knows what might happen.

My point was relegation doesn't mean players can just choose to leave.

I doubt we'd get that much for Holden tbh.

Been injured for a long time and only 12 months left on his contract.

What do you think 2-3 mil?

Probably something like that. He's worth more but like I said he's been injured and is out of contract the following summer.

If we went down, I wouldn't be surprised to see Holden and Lee stay. Both have had horrendous injuries this season and I don't think clubs would be likely to take a gamble on them until they have proved their fitness over a good length of time.

If they come back, get fit and have a good first half of next season, they could well go in January.

I would like to think that each player also has a clause in there contract that should see there wages plummet by at least 25% should we go down.

I think clauses will be in there but don't expect the figure to be 25%.

Also, if Mavies wants to move and there are PL clubs interested, a contract means nothing. Why keep him and make him unhappy? It'd be pointless.

We might decide to keep him for our promotion push. Who knows what would happen.

If someone is stupid enough to give us £10-12 million I think we'd take it.
