I can see us getting a draw out of this.
They only tend to get results away when playing against one of their bigger rivals when they have something to prove.
Not sure if we have got our scoring boots back on yet though, 0-0.

I don't think they can stop him playing. It's only loan deals where teams can do stuff like that. I think anyway. 2-1 Wheater, Petrov. Come On You Whites!!!

2-2.
Gerrard and Carroll for them.
Wash-N'Gog for us, and Wheater to smash in a header from a set-piece as thy're shocking at defending those.

Makes for fairly depressing reading, from the team news from the Beeb for tomorrow: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16559548.stmTwelve of Owen Coyle's squad are over 30. Wearied legs and minds won't keep them up. They don't appear to have enough goals in the team. Gary Cahill has gone now, and though they have £7m to spend from his transfer and the three teams above them haven't broken clear, it'll still take a miracle from Owen Coyle to keep the Lancastrians in the top flight. Take note, the only team with a worse home record in the top seven English divisions is Thurrock (who are bottom of the Blue Square South).
This has long been a miserable fixture for the home side too. Liverpool have won their last 10 games against the Trotters. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/16559548.stm

Defend deep, string three centre halves across the penalty box and we will struggle to break you down that's whats been happening at most home games for us this season and it explains why we get better results away when the games are a bit more open. Its just whether Coyle is prepared to do that just to get some kind of result, our defence has been pretty solid all season especially if Agger is declared fit and he partners Skrtel who is having his best season for us.Our only slight defensive weakness is from corners and the odd set piece. So in my book its up to the manager if he wants to play an expansive game it will more than suit Liverpool I hope he does, but if I were him I would keep it tight and hope for a goal from a set piece.

Why would we sit back and defend for 90 minutes, your not even that good and your racist forward is also missing. You just focus on staying sat down and avoiding causing a crush.

Defending is not one of our strong points, but then again neither is our attack.

There's no chance we'll go with three centre halves so expect an easy game. Don't worry about your poor goals scored tally. That'll improve today!

We've scored one more goal this season than Liverpool.
Just a pity we've conceded twice as many.

No surprises in the team:
Bogdan, Steinsson, Knight, Wheater, Ricketts, Eagles, Reo-Coker, Muamba, M Davies, Petrov, Ngog
Probably gives us the best chance of getting something so happy with that. COYWM!

I have lost so much passion over recent years with Bolton but this half has been the most enjoyable half of football supporting Bolton I have had in years. Really pleased to see OC didn't start with 2 strikers - is this a first? Look how much better its working, we're really competing in midfield. Mark Davies is finding so much space. It is just so nice to see us play without Kevin Davies. It will be brilliant watching us when we get Holden and Chung Yung Lee back, we'll have a really decent looking midfield and attack. Poor goal to give away, Bogdan showed his inexperience in not dashing to the ball but holding back, it was there for him to win after Bellamy's poor first touch. Come on Bolton, we can win this.
