Hey Guys, any idea when Chungy is due back? I know it's a long shot but i remember reading an article in the B.E.N saying he was hoping to be back playing by the end of January...

Also, any news on Stu?

Stu has gone back to USA for more rehabilitation - all planned and not a set-back.

Chungy = March
Holden = May

That was the story a couple of months back, not sure if it's changed.

Who knows though, Holden seems to be a very quick healer so maybe he'll surprise us and make an appearance in April.

Either way though, neither of them can be back soon enough.

Neither are going to be up to match fitness until next season IMO, Holden may have a slight chance of returning before May but I would be amazed to see him in a white shirt this season.

This. CYL is reportedly 2 months away but he'll probably need a few games for the reserves before we can even think about putting him in the first team.

As Aaron said, it will probably be next season before we see them on a regular basis.

End of next season. You'd hope both would stay as clubs are highly unlikely to take a chance on them in the summer.

It doesn't matter what league we're in, I'd imagine clubs would want to see them string some games together for us before taking a chance on either.

Even if we do end up going down. If we can get Holden and Chungy fit for next year I honestly think they would tear the Championship up there. But let's at least hope for a little while longer yet that we will see them again next year!

If we go down it's going to be very tough to decide what to do with them.  I can't see them signing new contracts; after the disastrous performance of the Coyle/Gartside/Eddie Davies triumvirate this season, Lee and Holden would have to be masochists to lock themselves into this team.

So the decision becomes, do we cash in in the summer?  Or hope they can lead us to promotion?

He was on the pitch at half time doing the golden gamble tonight.

No signs of a limp.

Get him in the team at the weekend.

I can't see any half decent Premier League team taking a gamble on Chungy and Holden after they have had to recover from such terrible injuries. It would just be foolish for them to risk purchasing them. Also, I think it would be in both of the player's interests to stay with us for a while and regain their form and fitness considering we have stood by them during their injury lay-offs

Holden at least will be out of contract in the summer
He let the league in tackles before he got injured
I cant see another club not picking him up in the summer even if Bolton stay up
I think he is Arry Rednaps kind of player

Boy, has he been missed! Don't get me wrong, Eagles has done ok; however Lee is by far our best winger. Hoopefully he'll be back soon, and he fire us out of this mess we are currently in.

Has he? He's had the odd good moment but as far as i can tell, the rest of his time here has been filled by his ball-greedy ponciness.

He's one of the most frustrating players in the team but I think Eagles has done ok too when you consider how little we paid for him. He's chipped in with a decent number of goals and assists but I think we all agree, he won't be in the team if and when Chungy is back to his best.

Eagles definitely runs hot and cold.  He's either really good or really annoying.  Still, I'd rather have him available while Chungy is out.

I think the more games Eagles plays at Premier League level, the more consistent he will become. He's definitely worth a starting spot in the team as he can create something from nothing and the team seems far more balanced with both him and Petrov in the side at the moment. Once Chungy is back he will be more than adequate back-up for him and we can switch all 3 around at will to keep them fit!
