I saw on Sky news earlier today that Mark Clattenberg has been promoted by FIFA to their "elite referees".  I presumes this means he can now do major international tournaments!!  Shocked

On a positive side, more chances of him being in a plane crash or something if he flies abroad more regularly.

Flying is supposed to be a million times safer than driving, therefore by spending more time in the air that means he'll spend less time on our roads ... which means he's less likely to die.

We talk about our refereeing standards being bad, but how bad must global standards be if he's getting promoted to "Elite Referees". Now there's an oxymoron if ever  saw one

I wander if Iran as got any games soon.Him,Riley,Knight and Webb could fly out all together saying that they are coming inspect nuclear weapon.Hopefully they might get to test one.
