Racism doesn't apply to French or Germans.

So calling them frogs and krauts is still ok?

It's a term of endearment, and probably about the nicest they could expect.

On a serious note are any of the following offensive - Taffy, Paddy, Jock? I've probably opened a can of worms, but I think not.

They all sound alright to me. Loads of Welsh, Irish and Scots get called those names as nicknames.

I'm sure some pc wanker will tell us different though.

Yep, a real can of worms.

It's deemed okay to say "I hate the French, all Frenchies are cnuts!"

Replace French with Pakistani though...

I think his goal shows that class is permanent.
Despite the fact he's French.

Some interesting comments just on Talksport.

Thierry Henry a PR stunt to appease the fans as Wenger isn't going to to spend any money in the transfer window?  Some of the board have indicated that Wenger has money to spend, but he has come out and said he can't find any value in the current transfers.

On top of knocking the occasional goal in he is also very talented at flogging stuff with his name on it to gullible Gooners. As one long term fan just said "it's not about the football anymore, it's about flogging tshirts". He quite rightly said most of the fans were living in a "Wenger bubble world".

Another season of under performing and he'll be doing a Coyle with the Arsenal fans.

They beat a very ordinary Leeds team last night (who's run of form at present is as bad as ours in a lower league) and rescued a piss poor first half performance with the assistance of an ageing star.

True.  Might have lost some of his pace but the timing of the run, the first touch, and the finish were all exquisite.
