Being dusted off for the Arsenal Leeds FA cup match tonight. Not played for the fuckers in 5 years and the Arsenal fans are getting their knickers in a proper twist about it.
While I'm on the subject, a text doing the rounds:
United brought back Scholes, Arsenal brought back Henry, Everton brought back Donovan and Liverpool brought back racism

My Arsenal mate thought it was funny when Mark Davies got stretchered off there.
So I am hoping Henry snaps his leg in half.
Just so I can text that twat and say hahaha.

If I was an Arsenal fan this would be just amazing, imagine if Okocha or Djorkaeff came back (not comparing ability)

I don't know if he was playing well for New York but one of the main reasons he ended up there is because he failed to impress at Barcelona.
He is an Arsenal legend, no doubt about that, but I think they'll probably end up a little disappointed that he doesn't bring back the form he showed when he was younger.

I don't know one instance of late when bringing back a former star to a club in any capacity has had a happy ending.

He did impress more than not, just think he lost his form and was moved on.

He always seemed to play shite at the Reebok. That said, Arsenal seemed to play shite at our place in his time with them.

I remember him never playing well at The Reebok. Although I do remember him once turning Abdoulaye Meite or N'Gotty or someone and firing a shot from 25 yards against the post... That was about it for his Reebok highlights

I don't know if he was playing well for New York but one of the main reasons he ended up there is because he failed to impress at Barcelona. Scored 14 goals for NYRB, which was 2 behind the golden boot winner. Looked good at MLS level but I don't expect him to make a major impact in the Premier League.

He looks like Anelka with that beard.

First game back, scores the winner with his trademark side foot finish too the bottom right corner.
Sometimes legends write their own scripts.

He's a top fella. Got a lot of time and respect for him. Has always played the game in the right spirit and off the top of my head can't remember him diving or trying to get an opponent sent off. Was quite refreshing to see how humble he was last night too. The best player to have graced the Premier League in my opinion. PS - I do realise he handballed it against Ireland in that play-off game but that just made me like him even more.

He did dive a bit in the past.
But which player doesn't?
That penalty him and Pires managed to fúck up that time was quite funny.

I don't ever remember him diving. I remember his pal, Pires doing it quite a bit, but never Henry.
Always seemed like a decent, honest fella.
The only downside it that arrogant prick Wenger was so smug last night. Can't stand him.

Can't access Youtube from work, but I'll take your word for it (assuming they are links to dives).

Yea one was a dive against Spain where he goes down holding his face. Even though he doesn't get touched. The other is a dive against Wigan which Diouf would've been proud of.

Racism doesn't apply to French or Germans.
