Hello,
I’ve just ordered a “Zoostorm” Pc. I was wondering if anybody had any experiences with them?
It has a 1TB Hard Drive, and 4GB Ram. Is that any good?

Never heard of Zoostorm. How much was it?
You shouldn't have any trouble getting anywhere near the 1TB limit so you probably will have enough memory. If you're going to be running Windows 7, 4GB RAM will be fine.

It was £479.
Thanks, good to know that I won't go over the memory limit.
Do you know how well games will run on it? Or does that depend on the graphics cards that it has?

Can't say I have ever come across zoostrom before are thay a new brand?
Think it will depend on the graphics card, depending on what type of games you want to play I suppose.

The graphics card will have a say in it but brand new computers usually come with a card that is somewhat up to date. 4GB RAM should be plenty for running games. My PC is 500GB HD and 4GB RAM and it's run without fault for me for the last 18 months. I had made the move to laptop about 5 years ago but having gone back to PC, it's definitely the better choice.

PC versus laptop is an extremely one-sided fight.
Similarly, laptop versus iPad is too.
All depends on what you use it for.

Zoostorm PC's don't seem to have graphic cards by default, did you specify that you wanted one? I just had a look at the Zoostorm website and the PC's all have 'onboard' graphics.

Ha, I didn't...
I don't plan on turning it into an xbox 360, just hoping that the RAM will be enough!

The fact that the website doesn't specify how much graphics is 'onboard' suggests that you will need a card. This is assuming that the motherboard has the appropriate slot. If not, I doubt you will be able to play Fifa 12 on it (not the most graphics-intensive game ever, by the way!).
Good luck!

Well, it came yesterday evening. All looked ok. However, I need to go wireless in order to connect to the internet. Does anyone know what things I’ll need? I think I need an adaptor of some kind but not really sure.

Go onto Ebay and type in wireless dongle. That should be all you'll need. Cheap as chips.
Edit: Of course, this is assuming you already have wireless set up in your house?

Ask your internet provider to send you a wireless router then if your PC doesn't have wireless reciever already built in just buy a reciver that just goes into your computer and it will pick it up. Go onto Ebay and type in wireless dongle. That should be all you'll need. Cheap as chips.
Or this

If the graphics chipset is on the motherboard it probably won't run top end games. If it has a dedicated graphics card it probably will, but if not, you then have the option to buy one and put it in one of the PCI slots - plug and play.
I hate to sound like a pedant but the 1TB is disk space, not memory, and the 4GB RAM is memory.

From my experience with and 02 dongle it won't work. If it's different on Orange then you might get lucky but I doubt it will work...........worth a try though.

No. You need a dedicated HSDPA modem, or USB Dongle as they are colloquially known. The only way that scenario might have worked is if you had a 'tethering' bundle with your plan but Orange charge for this. Vodafone is the best one to get on pay as you go, because the monthly allowance doesn't expire, meaning you don't have to top up every month if you hardly use it. Can you not scan for wi-fi networks? You might get lucky and have a neighbour with an unsecured network.

Bit detailed for my meagre technical intellect, but got the jist of it, thanks I have WiFi at home, was seeing about when I was 'out and about'.
