I just want to gauge other peoples hatred or dislike of them, I really do get angry watching them on telly because of Rooney, Fergie and worst of all is there cúntishly punchable fans.  I just feel like walking outside and finding one to kick in the head.

Wankers.

Today wasn't a great advert for their title hopes.

They scored 2 good goals in the first half and there couldn't be any complaints over the penalty but I thought the red card was harsh and ruined the game early on.

That said, with a man advantage and a 3-0 lead, they should have cruised to victory but instead they were lucky to hold out because City overpowered them in that second half.

I have an unfounded hatred of them, I think I got swept up with the general ill feeling of fellow Whites.

I do get unreasonably annoyed when I see folk down here wearing Man U shirts. I generally go out of my way to mumble 'glory hunter' or something similar when I am walking past them in ear shot of them, whether they be 6  or 60 years old (the younger the better as they don't quite get why a random adult takes an instant dislike to them and that invariably confuses and upsets them).

While watching him getting Kompany sent off, I was thinking about how much I despise Rooney. I don't earn a lot of money, but I think I would gladly pay £500 to be allowed to smack him straight in his ugly Shrek face.

Absolute fanny of the highest order.

It was a great game though and I thought City deserved to get at least a replay.

I hate the fuckers.

I still think city have the better team, if kuntany hadn't been sent off I think city would have gone on and won it as there midfield is a lot better quality wise.

If mancini had kept silva on instead of nasri I think they may have snatched something.

I always abuse them when I see them walking round Bolton in a dmb shirt.

I do it when I see them walking round Manchester as well tbh.

I am a fairly placid guy but I do have a hatred of that team & all that is connected to them. Partly because I am irrational.  Partly because I think the premiership was a terrible move for the average football supporter & purely a move to make more money for the big clubs & partly because of the glory hunter supporter who have the audacity to look down on so called lower team supporters.  Do not like them at all. There, I feel better now.

A hatred of them was instilled in me from my Dad at an early age.

I was sat watching today's game with 2 other lads, none of us City fans and yet the way we went on, it would have been extremely hard to tell that was the case. I think it's just normal for people to despise them.

I've always had a deep hatred of them and just seeing that badge gets my dander up.  I knew it was irrational though some years ago watching a kid on the news who had been electrocuted playing near a live rail line.  It was somewhere in the Midlands and the kid was described as a big Manchester Utd fan.  I found myself muttering at the TV that it served him right the little red fanny

Not a red

United should have had a pen

City could have had a pen

If Silva was still on, think City may have had a better chance, United did have a lot of the ball in the 2nd half and City relied on counters, which they did well, Silva could have created that extra 'bit' to get a third.

Answer the question Diddles.

Are you a lover or a hater?

I don't hate them and would never lower myself to call them a Munich, that's just a sick and evil, they play good football and that's all that matters too me, was hoping for a good game and got one.

I've said many times, I don't have this rivalry thing and I don't use the words like 'football fan' as an excuse to be an hooligan/ be involved in football violence or say things about football tragedies just because they are a team considered a 'rival'.

DMB is fairly mild as a reference IMO.

Are you religious or something Diddles, because I don't know anyone who would find DMB in anyway offensive as a Bolton fan? It seems a very moralistic approach to our Mancunian neighbours (albeit most of them aren't)
