Hello all.
What's your favourite drinking establishment to frequent on an away trip?
I love The Vine at West Bromwich. If you haven't been, it's about 15 minutes walk from the Hawthornes along the footpath parallel to the railway track. Anyone who has been to WBA will tell you there is nowhere to get a pint right near the ground.
From the outside, The Vine looks shíte.

But venture inside, and you have a traditional bar with a series of snugs, then further back an actual Indian restaurant where you order at the bar, and then further back again a massive seating area, and round the back a big beer garden with a tandoori barbeque and loads of picnic benches. The only issue with the beer garden is it's just a big concreted area.
The tandoori barbeque is a sight to behold in itself on a match day, it's like Marakesh market, a hive of activity, you can get a decent portion of tandoori chicken with salad for about £3.
A proper curry inside is about £8 including rice and naan. Instead of menus they have this 30ft wide blackboard where you choose your meat, your sauce, your rice and naan from left to right.
The place has a massive capacity, is welcome to away fans as long as you don't act like a cock, everyone is friendly, and you can eat authentic Asian food at great prices.
Has anyone else ever been?
Is there an away match you look forward to because of a great pub?
