There comes a time in everybodys life when things catch up with you. After watching a league 2 player skin Robinson and all the missed placed passes ,i think his time as a bolton player should end.Im convinced if he was playing against everton we would not of taken 3 points. And when he makes mistakes everyone but himself is to blame.sureley there has to be better left backs in the championship. :'(

Robinson is having a poor season and I would get rid of him in the summer IF we can get a replacement sorted early on.

To single him out for criticism today is harsh though. There were 10 other players on that pitch who were just as bad.

Yes.

Also he is a total w#nker who swears and insults fans who pay a lot of hard earned money to watch BWFC, and who have supported the club for years before that fat f#ck arrived. When it became apparent how sh~t it really was, somebody it the stand shouted "It's just not good enough Robbo". The W#anker responded with loads of foul mouthed insulting abuse.

Although it could be classed as picking him out, Lets not forget he is a Prem Player or so-called Prem Player on Prem wages, which he clearly steals. The fans and the club have been extremly good to him,he was a Has Been when arrived.

I'd pay up his contract to fcúk him off out of the club like they did with Shittu.

Almost every game I watch that he plays, at least once per game, he's left behind (actually made to look silly) by a forward with pace and a little bit of brains. He gets turned too easily and then is left for dead. Today was no exception.

It's time for him to move on to different pastures.

With regards to Robbo, yes he's not very good, yes he makes lots of mistakes, but he's managed to forge a half-decent career for himself inspite of it. He can't help being shite, if he's picked he can only do whatever he can (although that isn't any excuse against League Two players)

Our fans have a habit of slaughtering players on their way out. Shame.

Overall I think Robbo has been a pretty decent servant for us and has certainly exceeded everyone's expectations of him, he was slaughtered when he was brought here if I remember rightly!

I would tell his agent to look for a new club this month if he wants to be involved in first team football for the remainder of the season. With Ricketts and Alonso, hell, I'd even play Gardner, Boyata, Steinsson or Riley at left back ahead of Robbo now,  it's time to go.

I've been reading a Macclesfield forum and apparently Colin Daniel had the game of his life yesterday, but he is just not good enough.

I myself gave him a load of abuse for bloody standing there pointing, which he does all the time.

I don't normally tend toward demanding that players who have a poor game/season be shown the door.  However, Robinson has obviously turned from half decent cover to completely painful to watch.  I'd not give Kevin Davies much higher compliment either.  They could both leave the club now, for me...and I was one that had thought we should keep Davies as backup, on reduced wages, till he retires.

Sometimes, in football, we hold onto players too long.

Thanks Manny, at least someone has a little sense and is not blinkered, Earlier in the season it was Muamba getting the stick, last season it was Taylor and now it's Robbo, no wonder he snapped, Fickle fans!

Neither, have you ever been to a game? you should spend more time learning basic grammer and keep off your PS3 for a while.

I agree with this. When we signed him I wasn't too impressed as I'd never rated him. He struggled a little bit at first but then put in some good performances and was having a great season last year until Wembley. This season he's really struggled and we've conceeded too many goals down the left. One thing nobody can ever accuse Robbo off is not giving 100% though. Maybe he isn't good enough anymore but he's giving it his best.

Another sensible reply, and that is all you can ask a player, to give 100% and to want to play for the club.

Played very well last season, in terms of consistency was probably our best player.

Struggled a lot this season, doesn't seem to play well when partnered by Petrov. Possibly seen the best of him but at least he still offers himself for the ball and never goes hiding.

Gareth, is anyone who disagrees with you automatically blinkered then, or are you just kissing Manny's arse?

Is the Macclesfield fan who wrote the below article blinkered?

http://fansonline.net/macclesfieldtown/mb/view.php?id=76993

This is a League Two fan who thinks Robinson is the worst defender he has seen all season.

Robinson has been dreadful this season, perhaps you are the one who needs to take the blinkers off.

Where and when have I said that Robbo has not been shite this season? I suggest you read my comments more carefully or simply mind your own buisness; as for kissing Manny's arse, grow up you sad bastard!

Well, you wrote that all you can ask is that someone gives 100% and wants to play for the club, and wrote a fawning response to someone who said Robinson shouldn't be singled out for criticism. So that's where you suggested Robinson hasn't been shite. You've also insinuated that he is some sort of scapegoat and that fans giving him stick are fickle.

As for minding my own business, dont post on an Internet forum if you don't want people to challenge your views. Why this makes me a sad bastard in your warped mind, I have no idea.

It seems to me you're just lashing out as you've been caught talking complete bollocks.

I was one of those who moaned like a bitch when we signed Robbo.  I've never rated him, but to be fair to the lad he plays above his ability due to heart and effort - so I'm fine with him just for that.  He's totally lost it over the last 8 months though, and we need to part from him.  He was previously at a level where raw guts was enough to get him by, but I think his legs have totally gone and he'll never recover now.

I see the Robbo signing as less of a disaster than signing Knight, for example.
