Jussi is a doubt for the game.
Yeah seems he will miss it due to a injury he picked up against Wolves. Can't say I am concerned about Bogdan stepping in, apart from his nightmaire against chelsea I won't worry too much if he plays.

If he does play then hopefully he will show his form of last season.
He was useless against Macclesfield in the Carling Cup and the Chelsea game was probably the worst performance I've seen from a Bolton goalkeeper. He's got a few wrongs to put right so good luck to him if he is on the teamsheet.

I really think Bogdan could do with a spell out on loan instead of the odd game here and there for us.

I agree with that. Fulham sent Stockdale to Ipswich and when Schwarzer got injured, they recalled him. It wouldn't do any harm doing something similar with Bogdan because he doesn't even play for the reserves.
Rob Lainton is the regular goalkeeper for the reserves but he's out injured at the moment so Jay Lynch has taken the place. It must be a little frustrating for Bogdan to see our fourth choice goalkeeper getting more games than he does.

... but surely if Lainton is injured then we can't risk sending out Bogdan can we?
If/when Lainton is fit though, then it makes perfect sense.
Who knows, he may do well and someone will buy him for £4m....

Perhaps Jussi out on loan is a better idea.

Going for a 1-1 draw
Klasnic for us and Donovan for them
Now that we have got our first draw since February 2011, I can see us drawing the next few games!

Not one for starting things about formations but if I was coyle tonight I would try a 4-4-1-1
.....Bogdan....
Steinsson.......Cahill......Knight....Ricketts..
M.Davies.......Muamba.....NRC......Pet....
..................Eagles.............
...............Klas or N'gog
Have eagles just behind the lone striker as eagles has been known to chip in with a few goals in that position and try and have him and Davies swap positions now and again.

Everton aren't exactly free-scoring so if we played it right we could keep a clean sheet. However, they're so well organised defensively it'll be tough to score. I think we'll play well & deserve to hold out at 0-0 for about 80 minutes then Landon Donovan will get a quick brace to mark his return so we lose 2-0.

Match Preview: Bolton travel to Everton on Wednesday evening, knowing only victory will move them off the bottom of the Premier League.
Despite drawing 1-1 with Wolverhampton Wanderers on New Year's Eve, Owen Coyle's side ended 2011 at the foot of the table.
Defeats for Blackburn Rovers, Wigan Athletic, Queens Park Rangers and Wolves over the last two days have given Bolton the perfect opportunity to gain ground on their rivals and they can move within a point of safety with victory in Merseyside.
Bolton have lost on four of their last five trips to Goodison Park and if they are to put a halt to that run, they are likely to have to do with without the services of Jussi Jaaskelainen.
Jaaskelainen suffered a thigh injury in the draw with Wolves and has failed to train with the rest of the squad since the turn of the year.
A late decision is expected to be made on the fitness of the 36-year-old, with Adam Bogdan on standby to make his first appearance for the club since October.
Other than a change in goal, Wanderers could line-up with the same side that faced Wolves, with Sam Ricketts and Gretar Steinsson holding off competition from Paul Robinson and Dedryck Boyata to claim the full-back positions.
Gary Cahill's move to Chelsea has been put on hold, so the England international should continue to partner Zat Knight in the Bolton defence. Cahill is unlikely to be named in Bolton's FA Cup squad at the weekend, so Wednesday night's game could prove to be his last in Trotters colours.
Martin Petrov, Fabrice Muamba and Nigel Reo-Coker should start in midfield, with Mark Davies continuing to deputise on the right flank, despite talk of a possible move to West Bromwich Albion.
Kevin Davies will be hoping for a recall in attack, but Ivan Klasnic and David Ngog are expected to keep their places.
Stuart Holden, Lee Chung-Yong, Marcos Alonso, Tyrone Mears, Ricardo Gardner and Sean Davis are just a few of the names that will miss the game through injury.
Everton, meanwhile, are set to be boosted by the inclusion of Landon Donovan, after he officially completed his loan move from LA Galaxy.
Donovan, who made the same move in 2010, has joined the Toffees on a two-month deal and will return ahead of the new MLS season in March.
The USA international could partner Louis Saha in attack, but he is likely to have to settle for a place on the bench, with Victor Anichebe in line for his first start since August after scoring the winner at West Brom on New Year's Day.
Marouane Fellaini scored in Everton's 2-0 win at the Reebok Stadium in November, but the Belgium international is doubtful for Wednesday's game as he continues to struggle with a groin problem.
Fellaini's injury isn't the only problem David Moyes has to contend with, as he also has doubts over the fitness of Seamus Coleman and Royston Drenthe.
Bolton Wanderers: from: Bogdan, Lynch, Steinsson, Robinson, Cahill, Knight, Ricketts, Boyata, Wheater, Connolly, Riley, Muamba, Eagles, Petrov, M Davies, Reo-Coker, Pratley, Blakeman, Tuncay, K Davies, Klasnic, Blake, Ngog, Eaves, Obadeyi, O'Halloran

Does anyone think we should go with Wheater / Knight?
1) Cahill's head may not be in the right place, with his impending move to Chelsea 2) We may aswell get used to the Wheater / Knight combo 3) We've linked in too many goals this season. Perhaps we should try a different pairing? People were suprised with how well we did when we went with the duo of Knight / Ricketts, so who knows?
Could be worth a try.

I think cahill will start tonight, unless something changes before kick off regarding the transfer.

We will lose 3-0. Who needs a goal in the Everton side? Lets see.. Tim Cahill didn't score in 2011. He'll get 2 against us.
