I actually like Mears, as a player.  I thought he was Derby's only good player in the Prem, until his in jury, and he did well at Burnley when they came up.  Admittedly his pace covers up for a few flaws in his game, but it's better than having flawed players with no pace (as we have now).

I don't think he's any worse than Ricketts, in terms of his general game; he's much quicker though.

As Manny has said, it's only Kakuta who was a short term loan.  We signed Boyata for the season.

I'm sure Coyle is begging Mancini to let us rip up the agreement.  Once thing's for sure, barring another injury crisis, Boyata won't get anywhere near our first team again.  He's been a major disappointment.  There's simply no excuse for the amount of times he's switched off and let his man get in front of him.  He's cost us a lot of goals this season.
