I have always said that Sluffy is a first class shithouse and a powermad prick who treated this place as his own while Manny was trying to better himself.  He went out of his way at times trying to defend this site to the lengths of going on the other sites but when Manny decides he wants to take the reigns back then Sluffy throws his toys out of pram and goes into sulk mode.

Like I have said before he has cost this place a few people especially the ones that used here and Mavies with his acting like a prick and any of those reading this, I urge the to come back now that the fuhrer has gone.

If Sluffy wants to create a new forum with his mate from the carphone warehouse salesman from Morcambe then so be it but I will go out of my way to ensure this place stays active.

Creating a new site because you are being removed as a moderator and then trying to poach members from somebody who has been good to you is fcuking shocking.

Don't take this town trying to be the bigger person because it needs to be fcuking said, anybody who follows Sluffy especially those who used the official board needs a slap.

Sluffy has decided to join forces with a couple of other people and set up a new board. Natasha has joined his board and decided to send PMs to several people on here with a link, trying to get them to join up and because of this, PMs were disabled on here.

As a moderator, Sluffy had access to the registered email address of every member on this website. He has said elsewhere that he had no intention of stealing email addresses and contacting people directly. Whether or not he is telling the truth I do not know, but I shall choose to believe him as I don't have any reason not to.

With PMs being sent to our posters and the potential risk to our reputation and his, I thought it would be best if Sluffy's moderating permissions were removed. We have had a war of words with the Mavies board in the past and I want to avoid a repeat of this with Sluffy. He did a great job on here and put up with a lot of crap but it's time to move on.

If he is reading this, I would like to publically state that Sluffy is still welcome to post on here. There appears to have been a misunderstanding towards how I 'ditched' or 'dumped' him from BA, but I would like everybody to know I have no problem with Sluffy and didn't anticipate all this aggro. At the end of the day, I pay the costs of running the site and I am around a hell of a lot more than I used to be so I decided to make a go of this on my own. If that makes me the bad guy then so be it. It's my site, it always has been and hopefully always will be.

As for Danny. While I am around more often than I have been. I still need a bit of help at times (i.e. matchdays) so I have decided to keep him on board. If a time comes where I feel we need more help, I would gladly invite Sluffy back. However, I don't think he'll accept a moderating role and if that proved to be the case, I believe there are other users on here that could fill the void.

I see that you don't like to let the facts get in the way of your rant!

I've had ample time to plunder everyone's registering emails and contact them away from the forum completely if I had a mind to, let alone pm people - but I'm old fashioned and I've respected the site and its members confidentiality - which is a great deal more than you were capable of when you modded on this site!

I and others are in the process of building another BWFC forum which we intend to go live in the New Year - whether it succeeds or not time will tell (the odds are probably against us!) but we are doing it for a laugh and invite more or less everyone to join in with the fun once we go live.

Why are we doing it?  

Well after working nearly every day for the last three years or so trying to make the forum what it is - trawling everywhere for BWFC news just in order to bring it to here for others to see, raising the profile of the forum on other sites, keeping the place ticking over in quiet times, encouraging people to join in, keeping the peace and dealing with the shite and peoples personal grudges, removing racist and abusive posts, having a quiet word in peoples ears, etc, etc, etc - all in my own time (and without pay) and more often than not doing it all on my own! - I now find that I am no longer required.

Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed the challenge and fun of building up the site - so if I'm not needed here then why not try and do it again at some site where I won't be dumped in a year or so because of someone’s whim?

The internet is all about having fun to me - I tried to make that the major theme of this forum and attracted like minded people - and we had some great times - despite the occasional nutter or racist trying to feck it up for us all - but the decision was taken for whatever reason that it was time for me to move on and move on I have.

I wish Manny and BA the very best - I put in a great deal of work to make it what it was - but I've now been taken out of the loop.

Isn't it common knowledge that there is a 'secret' part of the BA forum for mods discussion? It doesn't seem unreasonable for that to remain hidden but be known about anyway, it's not as if it was used for slagging people off.
