13 goals in the league so far, all for free.  D'oh.

Not quite free.

£80,000 a week wages, about £30,000 more than our current highest earner, on top of a very nice signing on fee. Otherwise, he would have been an excellent signing.

Thanks for reading,

Gloria.

I know he is in form and looks an excellent signing but I still feel we have seen the best of the toon this season.

I am confident about the game next week.

As someone said on another thread, keep ba quiet and we should win.

Keepimg him quiet is easier said than done, both his goals last night pretty much came through his own quality.  If he carries on at this rate then Newcastle do not have a chance of keeping hold of him, I would go as far as saying world class on his day.

This.

Really impressed me in a poor West Ham team last season and this season he's been brilliant.

But rumours are he and his agent wanted millions in signing on fees, plus extortionate wages.

The term 'free' doesn't quite ring true.

It's doing them a diservice saying it's all about him.

they play good football, plenty of pace, they have a decent passing game and strong defence.

i know they've lost a couple recently but if you see the games they're having plenty of chances.

4 losses and 2 draws in their last six games. They are out of form, we can take these!!

2 - 0. Our revival continues. N'gog brace.

We have no chance. If they play like they did against West Brom they will batter us. West Brom beat them because they have so much pace up front and Newcastle's defenders couldn't cope.

Don't think they will have the same problem against us, do you???

I'd have him. (insert joke here)
The wages cap should be a bit more flexible if there's no transfer fee. If his wages are £5 million a year and you reckon he's worth say £5million, give him a 1 year contract and we're quids in.

That said, we didn't sign SWP because of the wages cap and he's done nowt at QPR as far as I can tell.

Our debt is getting bigger and bigger.  Signing someone on £80k per week for 3 or 4 years, especially if we can't get medical insurance on his glass knee would/could be financial suicide for us.

Getting relegated would not exactly be good for finances either.

Stop grooming him, anyway he's shagging his secretary.

Can I ask why you ask?

I'm legal.  That's all you need to know.

I can't work you out is why.

You come across hormonal and snotty in a way that made me assume you were about 18, but then you mentioned having a secretary, something not many 18 year olds have.

Hormonal and snotty?

Maybe I'm on the rag and got a cold.  So what.

Thanks for caring enough to muse about me though.  It's nice.
