If we score it we will win.  If we concede it we will lose.

Look at the stats, that is what has happened in every game we have played this season.

Fingers crossed we score first then eh.  Shocked

Oh, another stat.  Blackburn haven't kept a clean sheet for 19 games...

All that said, stick your life savings on it being a 0-0 borefest.

I can't remember a game built up so much on the sky sports website that involves us.

I really want to be positive for tonight but something is telling me we will lose.

Come on Bolton! I dread to think what will happen to us if we lose. First goal will be very important. I have a bad feeling we're going to concede from a set piece.

I've never bought into all this first goal rubbish. Megson used to say "when we score first, we usually win!" And of course. You've got a better chance of going on to win a game if you find yourself 1 nil up at some point than if you don't. The fact that its the first goal of the game is irrelevant.

Ultimately it will come down to quality. God help us!

Thanks for reading,

Gloria.

I can't make the game tonight because that was the time that I had allotted to iron the wrinkles out of my scrotum. I will be there in spirit as we turn over the chicken pluckers. You can get cracking odds on a Muamba hat trick!

I've never bought into all this first goal rubbish.

Look at EVERY single game we've played this season.  You'll see it's not rubbish.

What about the other 13 games?  Yes, we conceded first in every one of those... and lost every one of them.

You're exactly right, it's not rocket science, it plain and simple.  We're spineless.

As soon as we go a goal down that's it, there's no fight.  We not only lose, we lose comfortably.

I could be wrong but have we ever come back to win a game under coyle when we go a goal down?

Good question.  I don't know.  We definitely showed last season we could come from behind and grab draws.  That is beyond us though now.  Might as well leave as soon as we go behind.

I'd like to say I hope to see this trend bucked tonight, but I'd rather US just take the lead and win with ease.

Did we not last season against Villa at home?

If not like you say I don't think we have.

With the lack of draws under coyle that couldn't have been that many times either.

Good shout, Peter.

It was all down to that first goal, afterall. Nothing to do with considerable difference in quality.

Thanks for reading,

Gloria.

So, in summary, I was right.  Just like I said I'd be.

Thanks for confirming Glynis.

I'm sorry.

What can I say?  I have a split personality.  No I don't.
