No chance.  Remember, he's only banging them in for fun in the 3rd tier of English football.

I'm not saying he's not good enough to score at the very top level, but no-one is going to be coughing up anything like eight digits for him.

Admittedly they had some proven form in the top flight - Permission to throw Andy Carrol and Darren Bent into the argument?

Permission granted Smiley

To be fair, Darren Bent has been scoring in the Prem for years.  I've no issue with him or his price tags.  He guarantees you goals.

Andy Carrol, on the other hand, is still a mystery.  £35m?!?!   Mind you look at how much King Kenny has splashed out on bog average players such as Downing and Henderson as well.

Approx £70m for those three players.

Fcuk-ing-hell !!!

If he continues anything resembling a run of form he'll easily command a 10-20 million fee (possibly more) in the summer from one of the free spending top clubs. Liverpool are a bit fúcking stupid with their money with new young talent, my money is on them.
Seen Rhodes a few times and he's got good skill, knows where the net is but is a bit slow IMO. His goals against Wycombe were all well-taken but they were all pretty easy finishes in reality. I'm with Paul on this - Hoilett any time over Rhodes.
