He's been banging em in for a while now but I imagine his price went up considerably after yesterday.
Billy Sharp at Doncaster is out of contract in the summer. He might be a cheaper option

Theres a guy at Doncaster by the name of Diouff, he might be worth a punt too.

We don't want to waste any money in January under Coyle, even if we get some money for Cahill. Might as well get relegated in February with what we've got.

Jon Stead used to score for fun at Huddersfield, got a big move to Blackburn and his career has gone downhill ever since.
You may get the odd hidden gem in the lower leagues but unless they've already been snapped up by the top clubs before they reach 21, there's probably a reason why.

Besides him being called Jordan Rhodes, he will never be a Charlie Austin.

Shame Southampton are looking certs for promotion or I would love Lambert and Morgan Schniderlin (spelt wrong).
Both look like cracking players.

He'll be along soon with ten different line ups for tomorrows game. We won't own half the players he names though.

When has that ever stopped him. One thing is certain, Bogdan will be in everyone of his 20 different line ups.

The question is, is the time right to bring in Bogdan and O'halloren??
I've not seen much of OBADEYI but maybe re-calling him from loan and playing him at right back could be the key?!?!?!?!?!

Bloody hell! My opinion of him has changed tonight.
15 minutes left and Huddersfield are winning 6-0 at Wycombe. Rhodes has scored 5 of the 6!

Well that will have driven up the transfer fee a bit.

I can't see what more the lad can do to earn a shot at the big league.

Well if he came to us he would not have to far to travel. He must be worth enquiring about that's if we can creat the chances for him.Maybe they would let him go for around 4 million.

It's been a while since we had a talented young striker (who belongs to us) at the club. I've watched Huddersfield play a few times this season, and Rhodes really does look a good player - rather than being good "at that level". He's got a decent game (technique etc), but more impressive is that he makes all the right runs.
He's got to be worth a look; if the club have any money to spend, that is.

Harry Redknapp was watching him so I dont think we stand much chance unless he dont want to move to London.

Redknapp watching him and Spurs buying him are two different things. Also, if he's an ambitious lad it might weirdly make more sense to join a club like Bolton, with more chance of making the eleven.

I saw Lee Clarke a couple days ago saying they wouldn't be selling Rhodes in this transfer window.
I'm not sure how much they'd want for him at the moment but I doubt we could afford him.
Or be willing to spend most of the Cahill money on him.

All very hypothetical I know, but if it is a straight choice between signing Jordan Rhodes or Junior Hoilett, I'd pick Hoilett all day.

If he continues anything resembling a run of form he'll easily command a 10-20 million fee (possibly more) in the summer from one of the free spending top clubs. Liverpool are a bit fúcking stupid with their money with new young talent, my money is on them.
