We all know we could do with some new players, well an entire new team really, but do you think we're going to buy anyone in January? I doubt we're going to see any major money spent. We're obviously skint and have no money unless we sell Cahill. So at the very most I reckon Coyle will have £5-7million to spend. I don't think Eddie Davies will be willing to waste millions if it looks like we're dead certs to go down. Which it certainly looks like we are at the moment.

What does everyone else think?

I think it's paramount that we do, Dave. However, I don't think we will, sadly. I think the board have been hoping for Coyle to get us through this season, with little money and then readjust in the summer, wherever we may be.

What's the point?

We paid four million for N'Gog and he doesn't play him. They could buy Darren Bent and Javier Hernandez and we'd still have the same captain.

Thanks for reading,

Gloria.

Sell Cahill and ED will get the cash.

Who good enough would want to join a team bottom of the table, relegated and a total embarrassment. Would a top player, who would improve our team (yes I know, it's not hard) really want to be a part of this, maybe some lower league player who doesn't mind going down in 4 months to try and come back again.

Maybe a loan, but seeing what Coyle's done to Kakuta and Tuncay (even a £4 million striker), I doubt players will feel the same as they may have done when we actually gave Sturridge and Wilshere playing time.

None if he's not going to play them. Another reason I don't think Coyle will be given much to spend.

Lets put it this way, if Eddie is not getting his debit card to get rid of Coyle and backroom staff (which somehow costs 7 million) then I honestly cannot see him giving 7 million, or anything less, in January to buy players!

Championship here we come with teh same old and useless players
