Clearly, something has gone on in the back. Whether the players have stopped responding to Coyle or whether, being that we have ten players out of contract in the summer, them players are more focused on that, the uncertainty of where there going to end up, rather than concentrating the pitch, I don't know. But something has happened.

Sluffy hit the nail on the head in another thread, we simply cannot afford another season in the Premiership, we are 110 million in debt another season in this league adds another 20 million to that, it's just not sustainable with our support.

There is no dissent, or conspiracy theories, yes Coyle is inept, but it would suit the board to be relegated just to unload all the high rollers on the payroll take the 4 year parachute payments, then once on a suitable financial footing push for the top once again, it does make sense, financial restraints dictate our future.

I asked this question before, can anyone tell me why Steinnson is not first choice? Dissent perhaps?

There is no leadership at the club.

The manager went with the pally pally approach which doesn't work when times are hard and heads need to roll.

There is clearly no respect for Coyle, every game they go off with big smiles on their faces, they wouldn't do that under Allardyce, they'd never play for the club again.

Even Megson was quick to snuff out the smallest sign of descent and tore a 6ft something big black defender down the point of tears.

They do not fear, respect or respond anymore to Coyle's methods. It says a lot about the type of people they are, and that we're stuck with a bunch of cutns at the club who do not deserve to play for this club.

But at the same time, we're stuck with them, and plenty have been alienated and mismanaged by Coyle. And that includes the ones who he brought to the club!

And the leadership point goes down to the coaches and then to the club captain, who is a great servant but isn't going to light a fire under your arse with his ability to tear you a new one verbally.

At least with Nolan even when he was playing shíte he wasn't afraid to go and get in someone elses face. Hypocritical, probably, but it worked.

You've got Davies' wife saying how much of a disgrace Pratley and Knight are, she's spot on, where the fcúk is the captain, Mr Hardman, Davies in training? He should be blistering these idiots either verbally or if needs be to get something out of them, physically?

Most of these fannys need to be shipped off in the summer but the man mismanaging them now probably needs to leave now (although personally I think it's too late to rectify anything- get rid in November we might have had a chance, we'll probably sack him after defeat against Wolves knowing the way our club works).

Nearly all the income comes from Sky, so the level of support is financially irrelevant.
The size of the wage bill, for mainly cr*p players, is the problem.

I can't believe a thread based on three "smileys" has managed to create a debate.

Well the words clutching and straws in the same sentence draws debate at any level.

I wonder if he'd get the same level of debate if he named the title....' Dressing Room Dissent' ?
