I forgot what winning felt like, Incredible.

If our passing had just been a bit more incisive we could have wrapped the game up earlier, nevertheless a good performance yet still obvious signs of shakiness.

Like many here i am relieved that Coyle has finally realised that KD is not the answer along with bloody Pratley.

It's Stoke all over again.

After weeks of 'Coyle Out' rants you're all back in the Coyle camp after one victory as if the previous five thrashings mean nothing.

No doubt you'll all be on Coyle's back if we lose our next two games.

Have an opinion and stick with it you spineless fannies.

For the first time ever i'm with you on this, one scrappy win doesn't mean anything, if we string  a couple of good results together back to back then maybe we've turned a corner but we played a very poor and weakened blackburn team yesterday under huge amounts of pressure and we came away with a win...just.

I still think we have a long way to go and don't think our squad playing under coyle are capable of doing what is needed. Unless coyle has a shake up then I think we are still in big trouble, or in technical terms  Fooooked.

On my way to the hospital for a scan on my foot cos the specialist couldn't see a fracture on the xray. Keep your fingers crossed!

Heres hoping he only misses the newcastle game at the worst.

He's never really impressed me. But I thought he was having his best game for us last night.

I'm really pleased for Alonso - and for OC. I had high hopes that he'd come good with his football pedigree and he's one of the few BWFC players on Twitter who doesn't prattle on about what's on the telly or what is showing in the theatres or what they drive etc. Seems a good lad who loves his footy and wants to do well for the club. I hope he's ok for the next game and that he continues to consign Robbo to the bench. I don't agree with the views put forward about "Stoke game all over again". We have so far, despite being crap all season, managed to beat both Wigan and Blackburn and we avenged our 5-0 stuffing at the hands of Stoke. As the clubs who have thumped us this season will tell you, you can only beat what is in front of you. We were crap for most of our defeats - Man City being an exception. Therefore to say the clubs we beat were crap holds no water with me. This post is already longer than I had intended it to be, so -

Thanks for reading,

Keegan.

I thought we were very lucky to hold on to that lead last night. Blackburn were terrible in the first half and we were good value for the 2-0 lead but they came out a different side in the second half and deserved their goal, albeit courtesy of shocking defending from Cahill.

From there we had the chances to finish the game but the final ball ruined the move EVERY time. If one of those passes had made it, we probably would have wrapped things up earlier. Pratley was unlucky to see his shot go wide and having seen the replays, Jussi was beaten by Samba's header at the end. Luckily for us, it went the wrong side of the post.

Last night showed that we can put a performance in when we really have to. The big challenge is keeping it going and not losing our next 4 or 5 games like we have done previously.

Looked like he had it covered to me.

Shittam makes a valid point.
We should wait a while before we start tonguing Coyle's arse all over again.

Having said that, for reasons I've mentioned previously, I'm quietly optimistic that this could be a turning point.

I don't get where people are "tonguing coyles arse" Everybody is happy about the win and knows full well if we don't back it up, it's been fruitless.

moot point
