bollocks, no one thinks he's the next Henry but he's hardly had a chance here.
hasn't even started a handful of games, at liverpool he used to come on with 10 minutes left.
35 games sounds like a lot but when you add up his minutes it's probably about 5 games.

I think he would have a few more goals if he ever got a game. Seriously, if he had started every game possible, he would have more goals than Kevin Davies for sure :-)

He would be in my Starting XI every week to give him the games and the confidence boost he needs. He's young and just needs the confidence. When young players are confident it pays off.

Kevin Davies has 2 goals and one was an open goal courtesy of Klasnic.
If N'Gog had had the playing time that Davies had this season, I'll go out on a limb and say he'd have more than 2 goals.

He needs a few games with Klasnic but I would be surprised if davies misses more than 1 game,

A lot of these players contracts need to be waived IMO. Shame there's no league wide amnesty clause like you get in the NBA so you can bin one player who is utter shíte.

Can't agree with this, how demoralising must it be seeing Kevin Davies play instead of you and you only come on when we're losing and we don't have enough players to support with quality service.
4 million wasted by Coyle, not because he's shite, because he doesn't play, the same goes with Kakuta, Tuncay etc, regardless of ability, what's the point in bringing them in?!?!
I bet Chelsea won't lend us another player after what Coyle's done to Kakuta.

Jesus wept, what an idiot you are. This little rants makes about as much sense as slagging off Chungy, what can the lad do from the fcuking bench at 2-0 down?

Everybody's been on the injury list except one player we could do with being on there...because he's keeping this lad out who's ten times the player, albeit not a world beater. Sod's law. That, and the fact that Coyle's deluded. Ditch Davies and give Ngog a chance.
Thanks for reading,
Gloria.

People will always slag any player who hasn't scored 15 goals in 5 minutes from the bench.

To be fair to KD, he did score against Chelsea, clearly over the line, but I still agree. He's far, far. far more talented with the ball, he just signed for the wrong club, with the wrong mentality and wrong manager.

I do worry about our "style of play" You'd think a manager who "plays football" would stress the point. If the players aren't capable then lets play long ball, but we don't set up to do that either. we have no style to speak of.

The goals and chances we concede all start off with that hopeless, predictable hoof up to Kevin Davies.
It goes up to him, it doesn't get flicked on to another Bolton player because he no longer possesses those abilities, instead its won by an opposing centre half and its picked up by an opposing midfielder who runs at Bolton.
Its been happening all season and Coyle can't see it.
Thanks for reading,
Gloria.

I wonder if Coyle's got some misconception that if he dropped KD properly the fans would get right on his back because of how revered he's been in the past. Its one thing to play with 2 up front but 2 as immobile as Klasnic & KD is ridiculous, especially as KD has lost what little goal threat he had anyway & doesn't even seem to offer the defensive qualities he once did either. The only other thing is that perhaps OC realises the players don't have the quality to play it out from the back even if he wants them to & will inevitably just end up punting it forward so he may as well have Kev on to aimlessly flick it on.

I feel sorry for N'gog to be honest, he starts against wigan and scores then the only time he plays now is when were losing for about 20mins.
Plus like with many other strikers we don't play to there strengths and just launch the ball down there throaght and hope for the best.
Play the ball to his feet now and again and I bet we would have more success.

Ngog did more in his first 50 seconds than Davies did in 50 minutes.
Davies is an icon but his continuing presence in the team becomes more depressing every week.
