Just seen Megson on T.V, I bet he is absolutely made-up that Bolton are getting relegated, I dislike him as a manager and the memories of his time at Bolton still bring the shivers...
... but I bet if there's any-one so thrilled, so smug, so full of gloat at this disgraceful Bolton Wanderers now, it'd be him.
This isn't a slagging Megson off post, but he was hated so much and I bet he sticks his fingers up whilst laughing his tits off when he sees we have lost again.
It wasn't supposed to be like this, I remember when Megson left and we got Coyle, seeing him during the night at the Reebok having just been made manager and thinking the good times are here, even if we get a new manager, I don't think any realistic manager will bring that initial feeling that Coyle gave, maybe an ex-Wanderer like McGinlayor Okocha if they had been in England and had promoted a team like Coyle with Burnley.

I suspect Megson already hated Bolton by the summer of 2008 which is why he flushed £15.2 million of the clubs money down the bog on Shittu, Elmander and Muamba.

I don't share that view, Megson is a horrible tosser granted but Big Sam will be rubbing his bollocks at this one because he is a smug tosser and that celebration when Blackburn equalised last season proved that. He will be enjoying the fact that nobody has been able to match what he achieved. |

You do make a good point there actually, It was very funny to see his reaction after Holden made it 2-1 straight after M.Diouf had made it 1-1. |
