It's just a trend, I've been trying to catch all sorts on video; especially any sort of foul abusive language.

Good job by the big bloke.  Similar thing happened about 10 years ago when I was travelling home on the tram (Metrolink and not an Amsterdam tram).  Some scrotum wouldn't get off the tram when being asked to by the guard.  It had to take a fellow traveller to get rid of the fanny.

Doesn't happen as much over here as train guards carry hand-cuffs and can arrest fare-dodgers.  Thinks guards in UK need to have the same powers.

The ticket inspector wanted the lad off the train and he was refusing to get off. The lad was chancing it because the guy was old and he thought he couldn't do anything. So the big guy did everyone a favour and removed the prick.

The police  should've said thanks for saving them a job.

Agreed.  If the Police were actually around once in a while, it would save folk having to do their job for them.  Imagine if that bloke hadn't been there and they had to wait for the Police to turn up and thrown him off.  They'd still be sat there now..

Could the ticket inspector not just have radioed ahead and let the transport police do their job at the next stop?

Fair play to the big fella, but sadly in these times you lay a finger on anyone or say something that may be seen as offensive, someone's going to be filming it and putting it on Youtube and you'll end up in the shíte... no matter if you're right or wrong.
