I don't know why he's not popular on here, but if its the same Jimbo who used to be on the old 606, he talks a lot of sense. The only time we didn't agree was over Megson but he was man enough to eventually hold his hands up and say 'ok i was wrong, you were right right, he needs to go'.

Jimbo wasn't banned. He deleted his own account.
I've been in contact with him and the problem with him re-registering has been resolved.

After crunching those numbers again I think we can do a deal. 50% and a quick fumble in the carphone warehouse toilets and you've got a deal. I'm in. To be fair, I wasn't banned, I tried again later in the day with a different email address and it worked- I think the first email address might have been linked to my old account or something. I didn't get pushed over the edge by any one post or throw a strop because anyone was banned, I stopped doing the mod job because of the banning issue and I decided I'd leave when it just became Whittam witterings and poll threads (although I'll concede deleting my account was maybe a tad diva-ish  Anyhoo, that's all old ground, I came back on the other day when someone sent me a link to something and I caught the BA bug again. What can I say. You're a loveable bunch of fuckers. |
