As I'm currently suffering from depression I need a more upbeat thread, so this is it.
In your time watching the Wanderers, what is the funniest thing you have witnessed? It can be on or off the pitch.
The one incident that always sticks in my mind, and possibly you had to be there to appreciate how funny it was, was away at Stockport many years ago. It was about 20 minutes before kick-off and some bloke had just bought his pie and chips and was walking back to his spot on the terrace, when a stray ball from Ian Marshall (I think), hit with some venom, smashed into his chest taking his pie and chips with him. The guy was absolutely covered in gravy.
Slapstick comedy always tickles me.

Dunne handling the ball to set up the Speed PK. As I mentioned in another thread, I was literally on the floor laughing for five minutes.

Has to be at Burnden when little green car got stuck and then keeled over. You never see those these days, let alone at a footy match.

Last home game of the season, a couple of season's ago when some mad fool legged it on to the pitch trying to look like Pamela Anderson from Baywatch!!! Most funniest site I had seen, in years, at any Bolton ground.

That fcuking kit man that Coyle employs always brings me out in fits of laughter. Wouldn't you think they would make him wear an XL shirt ?
He always looks like he is auditioning for a part in Fat Farm.

That was funny, Didn't he get showered with dozens of pies off the Wolves fans?
One I always remember, which has been mentioned before, was at Huddersfields old ground Leeds Road, when a Bolton fan climbed the floodlight pylon, stood on top of the floodlights and dropped his pants.

They were throwing pies, drinks and coins at him. Funny how a man in a lion costume wound them up so much. I remember the guy climbing the floodlights at Huddersfield. Wasn't everyone singing 'going up, going up, going up' as he climbed it? Or was that somewhere else? Floodlight climbing used to be quite popular.

I can't remember what was sung but that would be favourite, the other thing that sticks in my mind that day was at the end of the game hundreds of fans surrounding the pylon to try to stop the OB arresting him. Don't know what happened to him as we went straight back to the pub.

A ballboy being attacked by Jens Lehmann and then giving it the "Have a go if you think you're hard enough!" despite being about 12!
Thanks for reading,

Some funny ones there, one of the funnier moments of recent times for me was Stuart Holden putting us back in front against Blackburn while fat sam was practically still jigging on the pitch. Was in north stand upper and i could feel the heat from FSA's face.

Glad to see that nepotism still has its place in modern society.

Many years ago at Bristol City the Wurzuls arrived & were drove round the pitch throwing calanders & tee shirts. The Wanderers fan threw them back.
