Laura Robson does not get mentioned anymore since Howfen left and she became of legal age.

Ok, so who will Howfen be into now?

He needs to come back and tell us, I have no idea how his mind works.

He's struggling now that Laura Robson and the S Club Juniors have all had their 16th birthdays.

I'd go with . . .

----------------- New GK ---------------
New RB - Cahill - New CB - New LB
Lee -- New CM --- Holden - New LM
--------- Klasnic ------ New ST -------
Looks good on paper but I'm not so sure about Klasnic. Cahill is offski I reckon. Lee is a maybe and Holden will have to prove that he can get back to his best form.
The rest are shoo-ins.

If all players were fit and ready then I would go for a 3-5-2 (without cahill as i think he is going in January): -

.............Jussi.......

.....Boyata.....Knight.....Wheats...

.................Muamba..........

CYL.......Holden......NRC.......Eagles

...........Klasnic......N'gog.........

We'd get destroyed with Chungy and Eagles as wing backs.

FĂșck it though, we get destroyed anyway, lets give it a go.

I only went with 3 at the back due to our poor full backs.

Like you said though were fooked either way.

Id go with 5-4-1

                    Jussi

Boyata-Cahill-Wheater-Gardner

LCY-Holden-Reo Coker-Mavies-Eagles

                     N'gog

Swapping Muamba for Mavies when we are playing the better teams.

                                                             Branagan
                                            Bergsson Fairclough  Taggart  Laville
Mcateer   Frandssen  Djorkaeff  Okocha Peter Thompson
                                                                 Worthington

Subs Byrom, Mcginlay, Walker, Freddie Hill, Frannie Lee, Greaves, Hopkinson.

Ok they are are all retired, and in some cases dead, but they could all do a better fcuking job than these clowns turning out for us at the moment.

I must have missed the game Laville played at full back.

He is just a centre back, I dont recall him playing there and even if he did, he played the majority of his games for us at centre back.

I thought Laville played LB for us but part of me thinks centre back... - unless I am confusing him with some other very good LB who only got a few games with us perhaps someone we got on loan one time? - but I can't remember one.

Shilton
Branagan
Jussi
Bergsson
Ngotty
Campo
Speed
Nolan
M Ricketts
Okocha
Stelios
Diouf
Ben Haim
Nolan
Elliot
Jenson
Fish
Frandsen
Johansen
Sellars
Todd
A Thompson
D Lee
Faye
Blake
McGinlay
Hierro
Holden
Gudjohnsen
Gunnlaugsson
Jaidi
Laville
Djorkaeff
Anelka
Sturridge
Wilshere

If those players were available at the top of their form I could not choose a best 11. Just wrote them all down as the good memories popped into my head...

Branagan
Bergsson Ngotty BenHaim Laville
Djorkaeff Campo Hierro Sellars
Anelka Okocha

Laville wasn't a left back.

And why is Okocha up front?

To answer my own original question:

Jussi/Bogdan
Riley Boyata Cahill Ricketts
Muamba
Lee Mavies Holden Eagles
Ngog

Ohalleron, Tuncay, Petrov, Gardner, Knight, NRC, keeper

But again, this keeps changing in my mind - like how can I realistically leave Klasnic out completely when he can have a golden touch. Am I sure about putting Boyata and Riley in those positions? Should Eagles play left wing?

There are too many question marks over this team but we have some decent players.

I would definitely be happy for my original selection from the OP if we could get a few players in.
Eg - a reliable left back so Ricketts can play centrally. A reliable keeper so Jussi can retire and Bogdan can be sub. A decent left mid so we don't have to play a right mid there or end up chancing it with Petrov or injury prone Gardner. And a striker who we know can create and work up top on his own when needed. Not sure Ngog is the man for that - although I am happy with Ngog to play in a 442 when we get chance.

Cos I could not fit him in midfield. I meant to put him behind Anelka as attacking mid. And Laville not left back? Well who is it I am thinking of then?
