Rate The Ref - Dowd (Villa)

We've got Phil Dowd for the Villa game. This guy is one of the worst refs about at the moment. I predict 2 red cards, a penalty and Dowd wasting 10 minutes each half by lecturing players after every foul.

There is no way you can fairly call Dowd "one of the worst refs about at the moment" in a league that employs Attwell, Friend, and Clattenburg.

He's a blowhard and annoying to watch but he's not as stupid as Attwell or as crooked as Clattenburg. He's OK.

If there was a league table for cuntishness amongst referees, Dowd would be mid table, topping the league would be Clattenberg, Atwell, Dean, and Oliver. In other words he is a fanny no doubt, but a fairer fanny than those previously mentioned
