There are way too many "sticky" threads on this site. The General Banter section looks like a feckin' Console forum.
The only thread that needs to be a "sticky" is the forthcoming match thread and any announcement from the mods.
It really does put people off.
Also, every other thread in Reebok Rant is a thread about how crap Owen Coyle is. Merge them all.

I agree. I've toyed with the idea of creating a sub-forum in General Banter and placing all the games threads (FIFA, Football Manager) in there. I might trial the idea and see how it works out.
Another issue I have is there seems to be a race between posters to create the thread for the next match. We're ending a game at 4:45 on a Saturday afternoon and a new thread is up by 5pm.

Perhaps a more wider option called the entertainment forum or something? Basically any post to do with games , films, celebrity film news etc; all goes in one place. |

One thing I like about this site is the match threads normally have the teams names announced correctly.Other Bolton sites think it's funny to make up silly names for the opposition on the match thread title.Please don't go down that route. |

As posts from September were appearing on page 1 of 'Other Football', the decision has been made to merge this with 'General Banter'. The newly merged board goes under the name of 'General Banter & Other Football'.
Inside this board, a sub-board has been created called 'Games'. If you have anything to post regarding FIFA, Pro Evo, Football Manager or the official BA games such as the Prediction League and Fantasy Football, that is the place to go.
