Not my words but the words of phil gartside: -

"Let's all get behind Owen and his team," said Gartside on his Twitter account. "No vote of confidence, he doesn't need it, he's got plenty."

&

The Bolton boss said: "I've had, from day one, a fantastic relationship with my owner and chairman.

Complete and utter Garbage!!!

Our record is shocking!!

Gartside talks constantly about the injury list; there are only two players on that list that would make a notable difference to our team. They knew they were injured so why didnt they replace them?

This is the worst shambles of a Bolton team that i have seen in 21 years supporting the whites!

Coyle must go now!! Time is of the essence! I just fear that it may be too late!

Get rid and invest heavily is our only real option of staying up, sadly, our chairman and our board dont see it that way!

It begs the question are they really that naive or do they want us to go down?

The manner of our performances our diabolical, i've never seem so many spineless attempts at a game of football!!

I'm always behind (not in that way children) whoever the manager is, but it doesn't mean you can't point out where they're going wrong. (in your opinion)

Thats football and I'm sure the players and the manager are used to it.

I don't think there's been a problem with any fans not getting behind Owen. Compared to the stick Megson and Lee got for worse results, Coyle doesn't know he's born.

But there has to come a time when the powers that be decide he can't take us up and out of the mess so let's give somebody new a chance while we still have enough games left.

We are skint you dickhead.

So what would you call being 100 million in the red, no money in the kitty for transfers during January, unless we sell Cahill and that will only bring in between 6 and 8 million as it will be the last possible chance to sell him before he goes for free in the summer.

Plus if we do get rid of Coyle what will be the redundancy fee be?

Truth be known we are in exactly the same boat as Everton - brassic, having to sell to buy.

I'd call it what Sharps did.

Skint.

But....

We may have the security to back any bank loans BUT would you want a loan from a Bank at this moment in time?  I know I wouldn't!

I still say it is more than skint.  It may be a case of semantics but skint just doesn't cover our situation!

Preston are 14th in League One. Why should we be looking at Phil Brown?

phil brown is a great manager imo and i think his skin will go well with the orange on our sponsors. if not brown how about dennis wise or brian laws?? i'd even like alan knill or richie barker from down the road. everybody mentions mark hughes but what has he achieved in management? he's the most overated manager of all time. alongside fergie.

BRING BACK MEGSON!!!!!!

So Phil, besides being likeable and a more positive person than Megson, why is he getting more of a chance? even than Sammy Lee? is it really because we don't have the money we once bid for Veloso under Megson and releasing Coyle isn't good financially?

I'd also like to know where this confidence has come from, what Bolton have done since Wembley is a disgrace, any other club, without too much of a debt problem, he'd have been sacked imo, or at least not getting their chairman saying things are fine and dandy and we should keep the faith.

It's not like it has been in other relegation seasons, like when we first came into the league and seemed to loiter in or around the bottom three.

At leaset after those games we came away with a loss but having hit the post twice, or been denied 3 penalties or created 10 great chances but been foiled by goal line clearances or unlucky misses - or at the other end we would play well but get undone by a silly mistake by Jimmy Phillips or a  foul on our keeper... what I am saying is in the past at least we had reason to believe there was hope. Our team would be performing or at least attempting to play out of their skins... that was acceptable. What we are seeing at the moment gives me no hope and lots of cause for concern.

Actually agree with some of that to be honest, the reason I used to believe we could stay up under megson was that we had a bit of steel about us and never give up games so easy, we used to have players like nolan who we knew could drag us out of the crap.

I can honestly say I can't think of one player we have at the moment who is willing to drag us up by the bollocks and get us back into a game when we are struggling or losing.

I was thinking more of the Todd era to be honest. We have been atrocious enough times in the Megson games. I'm talking about every week I know I used to come away from most games relatively happy - even though most were losses. And if I had any quibbles it was about hitting the post or about not getting a decision from the ref - never about the team being utter rubbish and spineless.

I say all 22.000 of us should get behind Coyle, and shove him and his goon of a backroom staff right out of the Reebok door.

Nolan hardly ever dragged us back into a game during the Megson era.  He yelled a lot but man did he ever suck.

We stayed up under Megson because other teams were awful.  It's looking like we may not be so lucky this season.
