Warning! depressing post ahead!

I think it's pretty obvious that this shameful team is getting relegated, what they have done since Wembley, well even before that, like since Stu Holden got maimed, is a disgrace.

Considering we still have to play all the top teams again, we'll not have enough games to get the points we need, we also don't have the players, the manager, we have no captain and we have suspensions and injuries all the time, so for me we'll be down around February/March, maybe April if we get a new manager which provides a brief 'honeymoon' period', but getting these crap players to gain points and sustain it consistently is an unachievable task.

The Stoke 5-0 win was the perfect revenge and to prove that the Wembley defeat brought upon some kind of curse and that it had finally been broken, but no! we then lose 3 in a row and don't score a goal from open play, just a Klasnic penalty! we always follow a win up with losses, so it shows they can't get any confidence from a rare positive, since Wembley it's been WLLLLLWLLLLLLWLLLWLLL .. what a complete joke that is, it's disgusting!

---

So I get to my thread title, you'll have to have a lot of blind faith/belief to think Bolton can survive imo and I know it's hard to say/hear bad things about your supported club for some people, but I think we'll be down way before the season ends...
... So, will there be any point in going to games or even watching on T.V after our fate is sealed? I'm a shíte fan and don't go to away games, but if we're relegated, surely the players are playing for nothing and a win will not change anything, so what's the point in going? the players could win 8-0, 5-0, 3-0 and it wouldn't change anything, there's nothing good about trying to finish 18th ahead of the other two dropout's.

Also next season, they'll be hardly anything to talk about? I mean after a decade+ of talking about who we're linked with etc to then have transfer threads about crap players we're linked with because we're in the Championship, it's going to suck big time, not exciting at all, and also match threads, Bolton v Bristol City, woopdy doo! what a load of shite! Bolton linked with League 2 player! Bolton attendance 3,002, Bolton go into administration! Bolton resort back to Megson, Lee and Holden sold, replaced by conference players.

These players should be ashamed of themselves, what do they think they're doing?!>, why is Coyle getting more of a chance than what Megson and Lee had? is it due to him being positive[not really anymore]/likeable? I mean the results are even worse and it's hard to play good football when you have shíte players like Knight in the team.

I've gone from gutted, to anger, to well and truly pissed off with 'em, they are an embarrassment, but I still care, and I'll always support them, but with our debt, the players we'll lose, the disgrace of being relegated will for me lose a lot of good in being a Bolton fan because it's hard to believe we'll get back up and there's nothing good about being in a rubbish league, some will say 'but we get to go to new grounds, etc? who cares? seriously?

Rant over. I'm sure some will find this hard to take and say stuff like 'you're not a real fan, go and watch Man City if you're not happy, blah blah, blah.

I aint reading all that but nobody is happy about this one bit, but there is still a lot of football to be played and I dont see why people just cannot get behind the team until the end of the Jan transfer window and see where we are then.  We have some very winnable games coming up to just write us off already as being down is just silly.

The chairman clearly has no attempt to remove Owen Coyle and as we have seen before many times football is a funny old game and anybody can string together 3 or 4 wins at a time.

Alot of pundits seem to think we will be fine so why not just get behind the boys.

Can you see us getting 3-4 wins on the bounce though?

Coyle has really pissed me off recently but youre right we need to back him while he is in charge.

I dont think he will get sacked,i think the best we can hope for is he starts to learn from his mistakes.

Diddles, after reading that shite half of me hopes we do go down just so we get rid of the plastic fans like yourself.

A real fan gets excited if their team is chasing the signing of a non-league striker, I remember once nearly wetting my knickers when Gordon Sharrock told the world we were about to sign Wayne Biggins from Stoke – this was like signing Messi to me at the time.

A real fan gets just as excited by the visit of Bristol City as he does Manchester City, because it’s all about matchday, the atmosphere, and the possibility of three points.

So you’re wrong when you say there’s nothing good about being in a "rubbish" league. The mere fact wankers like you, who think the Premier League is everything, won’t be in the ground will be good enough for me.

That is what I mean , we could not look less likely to do that at present but that is how funny a game football is.

Don't start with your abuse, because I'll just have the post removed and I said "will there be any point in going? once we have been relegated, meaning this season, being in the Championship will be a terrible time for at least 12 months, but I'll still go to the home games, but it won't be any fun and games against Bristol City etc will suck because the thought of being in the Premiership for a long time will still be in my thoughts.

We're a third of the season gone almost and we have 9 points [lol :/], treble that and it's only 27, take away around 6-8 games against the top sides, that we always lose, meaning we'll have about 15-18 games to get about 30-35 points, it ain't happening.

That made me laugh, particularly as you're banned from another site for writing crap.

After one game we had 3 points from 3, did you think we were going to get 114 points?

That made me laugh, particularly as you're banned from another site for writing crap.

You shouldn't have apologised Diddles, you did nothing wrong. Some arsehole is saying the Welsh are all wankers and then pretends to be crying tears for Gary Speed - he/she is the one who should be apologising.

The fact they have banned you for a month is laughable, in fact the whole reaction has been laughable. This morning they were saying Gary Speed never had a bad game for Bolton!

I was banned for a month and you agreed that I did nothing wrong and shouldn't have been banned, but now you're saying it was because I was writing crap? just because you don't like this post, don't contradict yourself and make up stuff.

Also what's the point in judging the rest of a season on one game, 12 or so games is efficient enough to judge and predict on average how we'll likely to do, I don't see anything to suggest our fortunes will change, especially that dramatically to get the points we need.

I said you didn't deserve to be banned, it doesn't change the fact you write crap. And always have done.

I don't know why I dislike you so much...I can't decide whether it's the childish way you post, the fact you ran off to WW when the going got tough, the plastic fan attitude, or what you said about your cousin.

Football is an entertainment for me.

Some of the best times I've had was being with good friends and having a laugh going to / from games in the lower leagues.

The football on many occasions as been somewhat incidental to the whole day out and enjoyment received.

Of course going to the game was the reason we meet up and set off to go to what was Burnden or some away visit somewhere or other - but the enjoyment wasn't about seeing us get thrashed, it was the day out with people whose company you enjoyed.

As long as people enjoy the day out, then they will keep going - once however it becomes a chore or not worth the expense of the day - they won't.

Ok times have changed and people maybe socialise over media sites rather than in the flesh - so perhaps less people than back in my day will be bothered - but as long as people enjoy the day - irrespective of what division we are in - they will still go to the games.

Once a White always a White, my first game was in 1966 so there is only one thing that will stop me supporting my team, yes the wife.

These players should be ashamed of themselves

You should be ashamed of yourself for that post. Are you going to stop supporting Bolton if we go down?
