Bolton 1-3 Aston Villa.

Gartside to come out and say we will finish in Europe if we believe.

I'm hoping for a villa win to push coyle over the edge and our record this season to a staggering p 15, W 3, D 0, L 12

Coyle out!!!

 Cool

No matter what underlying reason you may have' it's wrong to wish defeat on your team

You're right. Straight_G should, yet again, be ashamed of himself.

We need to win at the weekend.

Come On You Whites!!!

Coyle is staying so we may as well get behind the lads and with a little luck who knows?

Coyle will be sacked and his current record dating back to just after christmas is appalling.

The only problem is that fat phil will hold out as long as possible.

If they sack him before january, we might have to spend some money which we all know wont happen.

It's hard to know what Coyle can do to change things for our up and coming game but I think we have to be adventurous but not naive against Villa. Having said that we also need to change as much as we can because the current set up just does not work.

If Cahill is allowed to play and if Ricketts is fit yet, is he?

Bogdan
Boyata Cahill Knight Ricketts
Eagles     Muamba     Gardner
Mavies Tuncay
Ngog

Yes I would take a couple of risks. Out of possession Mavies and Tuncay would slot into a 5 man midfield. Gardner and Eagles would provide additional full back cover. Tuncay, during good spells of pressure would become a second striker and Mavies would slot into a 442. May seem weak in the middle of the park but remember Mavies and Tuncay would mostly be playing in a 5 man midfield with Muamba to mop up and Tuncay/Mavies as an outlet.

It simply is not working with Klasnic and Davies up top. We are not threatening anyone. It has to change.

Bogdan? Remind me of how many goals he was responsible for the last time we gave him a go...

Gardner? Tuncay?

Are you on crack?

Jussi has made plenty of errors himself. All goalies have a mare at some point. We can't just never give Bogdan another go.

If Gardner is fit then he should play on the left with Ricketts who is pretty good at left back. It would give us some real cover down that side minimizing wide attacks which have cost us so much.

Tuncay is the only player, alongside Mavies who can control a ball with a single touch and has good vision and creativity. He simply has not had his chance yet. He needs to be on the pitch alongside a decent striker, not Davies, so we can see what he can do.

Lets give ricketts a chance to come back from injury and up to full fitness first shall we?

Gardner and Ngog are injured also.

I think he is one of the most promising players I have seen at our club. If we could buy him he would be great for us. Isn't he 18 or something? Imagine how decent he could be in a couple of years.

Can't say either way really, haven't seen that much of him to decide but he doesn't look any worse than any other defender we have at present.

Boyata's supposed to be a centre half but Coyle's insistence of playing Cahill and Knight before all the injuries and suspensions came about meant he was forced to play at right back.

City did play him at Right Back on occasion and he also played there the last game of last season for them against us.

He's 21 actually: which is no longer considered young in football terms.

He is a good full back. Perhaps good at centre back too. If he has done nothing to shine in your opinion then please never become a football scout or coach. If anyone cannot see his ability from what he has shown so far I am sorry to say it but you need your football brain testing.

Oh. Well that does take some of the shine off a little then. But he is still good.
