Its very hard to decide.I think we have the better players and just the better manager.  :'( :'( :'(

When everybody is fit and available, we have a better team than Wigan. I think we showed that when we played them at their place.

I don't think Wigan are as clueless and hapless as us when they lose - but then I've hardly see them. Their fans might disagree.

Both owners have stopped spending money in the last couple of years and haven't replaced departing players with ones of the same price.Price generally means quality although Megson signed a lot of overpriced dross.Speed cost £750K, Muamba cost £5 million.Go figure.
A big difference  is that Bolton have their best two attacking players out with long term injuries and Wigan don't.
Wigan play a more negative game and are more difficult to break down but Bolton are better offensively than Wigan.Neither are good enough teams to compete in the PL and both are in the correct league positions with the players they have available.

Blackburn currently have better players than both Wigan and Bolton.If Holden and Lee were available Bolton would have a better team than Blackburn.
