Win records tell half a story, if that. Mickey Mouse could go to plenty of clubs where he'd easily achieve a seemingly impressive win percentage. The resources at a manager's disposal in relation to that of managers at other clubs within that league have to be considered for win percentages to be taken even half at face value.

Got this strange feeling of Deja -Vu, people clamouring for the sacking of the manager, the team in the bottom three, can't keep a clean sheet!
Only then the same people were screaming for either Owen Coyle or Phil Brown to be appointed, now Lord news who is popular, problem is, who worth his salt would take the job? No money or prospects of any has to be a stumbling block.

Ahem. I think you will find it was I who said it first. About 3 weeks before Dave mentioned it. So there! You may not remember it but it was a post in which I said "only a bloke would call himself a name like Gloria's tits..." - another thing which nobody else had spotted. |
