Following Joe Harts excellent double save in the dying moments of sundays game it
got me thinking about the other great saves I've seen from the oppositions keeper
down the years. The ones you curse but you know instantly it was a magnificent save,
and cant help but appreciate the skill.Anyway here is my best one which I can get footage
of,If you remember any and can get footage of it, post it here.Any comments on it welcome too.

What makes this one special in my eyes was the speed of the re-action and the importance
of it in the context of the game.

He saved a better one than that for City I think it was at Anfield.

Jussi's finger tip save at villa a few years back when speed won it with a penalty late on.

Think it won save of the season on MOTD.

Ha, you know I love to point out faults.

For the life of me I can't remember any good saves by the opposition, they're all flukes.

I think david james had a stormer against us a couple of seasons ago for pompey at the reebok.

Not sure he made any ''worldie'' saves though.

If you quote Paul Merson again I will kill you.

Wasn't at the game, nor was it the opposing keep either but I always thought this was a really, really good save -

This one was pretty awesome because it required perfect timing. I remember watching it on TV and thinking it was something special. And he played for the opposition!

Either Mark Schwarzer for Bradford at Burnden, or Paul Jones for Southampton at the Reebok.

Not just one save but the best two goalkeeping performances I've ever seen.

I remember the Schwarzer performance that day.  Unbelievable.  Nathan Blake barely got a kick from a young centre half they had playing for them that day.  A Mr Andy O'Brien
