Is that true? The news aren't speculating on it at all so.

Real shame anyway he was a class act, real top pro.

thoughts with his family.

I will never forget his influence in the 4-0 game at Goodison a few year back when he completely ran the show.

Horrible news.
If it is suicide how low must he have felt to take his own life.
RIP. Poor man.

Robbie Savage, Tweeted: "The world has lost a great man in Gary speed I'm devastated spoke to him yesterday morning why ! Why. Why !! I'll miss him so much x

"He come to watch strictly 3/4 weeks ago I high fived him in the front row he loved the show ,he loved life he loved his family ! Devastated".

...and he was on football focus yesterday. What happened to him? Why would he do it?

Don't quite understand why he would do something like this.

There is definitely something behind the scenes that we don't know about. Maybe something was about to come out in the press.

I wasn't too convinved when we signed him because of his age but he won me over very quickly and was probably one of my favourite Bolton players of all time.

He was a top pro and I don't think anybody had a bad word to say about him. Truely shocking news. RIP Speedo.

So sad that a sportsman of his calibre should feel so low as do something like this, surely somebody somewhere knew of his pains, but I guess if you sink so low nobody can stop you............ R.I.P Garry.
