With the huge number of injuries we've got right now, I thought I'd compile a list so people can see who is unavailable and when they should return. If this feature becomes a success, it will become a more regular feature in the future.

Goalkeepers:
Rob Lainton - Thigh - Out until January 2012

Defenders:
Marcos Alonso - Broken Foot - Back in full training
Tyrone Mears - Broken Leg - Out until January/February 2012
Sam Ricketts - Achilles - Out until December 2011/January 2012
Dedryck Boyata - Ankle Ligaments - Back in full training
Joe Riley - Hamstring - Out until December 2011

Midfielders:
Stuart Holden - Knee Ligaments/Cartilage - Out until March 2012
Ricardo Gardner - Hamstring - Out until December 2011
Nigel Reo-Coker - Hamstring - Out until December 2011
Sean Davis - Knee Ligaments/Cartilage - Out indefinitely
Lee Chung-Yong - Broken Leg - Out until January/February 2012
Josh Vela - Fractured Ankle - Out until March 2012

Forwards:
David Ngog - Hamstring - Out until December 2011
Tom Eaves - Knee Ligaments - Out until December 2011

I have never known as much bad luck with injuries as this.Having said that it is all about Stuart Holden. The freefall started the moment Holden got injured, the rest of them couldn't even hold out for a few minutes against ten men for the point at Old Trafford. If Holden hadn't been injured we'd be in mid table now even allowing for all the other players crocked.

Is it luck or is it shíte training/physio etc sessions.Under Allardyce he was well known for his state of the art treatment etc and we never seemed to have injuries like this.

The players dont seem as fit now a days either.

Hear hear, this is not just a run of bad luck, you don't build up muscle tissue by being the best table tennis player in the Barclays Premier league.

Spot on tomr, luck has got nothing to do with it. People used to laugh at Sam with his Opta stats, sports science, dietitians, hypnotherapists, ice baths, and all the other crap we used to have. But we never used to get injuries. Coincidence? I think not.

You would think if it was working then lee, megson or coyle would have just stuck with it.

Not sure who scrapped it but they were fools who ever it was.

You need to get a grip, he's a decent enough player but he's done nothing in his Bolton career to suggest he's a world beater. He's had some awful games just like the rest of 'em.

Injury prone and should be moved on at the earliest opportunity.

I am guessing they didn't so much scrap it as not actively support it, but Lee and Megson were idiots so who knows. Maybe there was nothing left for Coyle to inherit.

Of that list only Holden, Lee and Reo Coker would be guaranteed a starting place, so the injury problem isn't as bad as people would have you believe.

What does google mean?

If I was picking the team Ricketts, N'Gog, Boyata, LCY and Holden would be missing from I consider our strongest 11.

Ngog who's shown nothing so far ahead of the goal machine?

Ngog has not had the service and Klasnic would have the ability to score from the bench.  I think somebody like Holden could find him easier and LCY would link up well with him.

Mark Davies in your best 11? The guy is utter crap.

You could have put big, lazy bastard. We would have known who you meant.

I would find it hard to leave out our most natural scorer from a best 11.

Although i could see Ngog being a better target to play upfront i couldn't leave klas out either because of his goalscoring threat.

From every player we have, if i had the opiton my starting 11 would be:

Jussii
Steinsson....Cahill...Wheater...Robbo
CYL....Holden.....Muamba.....Petrov
N'gog....Klasnic

I put steinsson at right back because I don't think he is any better or any worse than any other right back we currently have.

Same team except with Eagles on the left.
