Let's face it, if we get relegated in May the club is going to be in the financial shite. BA financial expert sluffy says it's unlikely we'd go out of business which is good news, but what if we did go bust.....what would you do on match day?

Most people couldn't just walk away from football altogether so would you be prepared to support another club? Could you see yourself at Gigg Lane or Old Trafford instead of the Reebok? Perhaps you couldn't face another league club so what about supporting Chorley which isn't far from the Reebok. This is definitely what I'd do.

Or could you just walk away from football and take up another hobby?

Start following a lower league club, help to set up AFC Bolton or something in BWFC's place.

We'd fly up the leagues.

Go shopping and things women are supposed to do of a weekend.

Or turn into a weekend lush & have my own stool at the bookies.

I could never support another team. They're all scum and I hate them.

I'd fúck football off and spend my weekends looking at old grave stones and storm chasing.

Haven't got a clue - it'd be impossible to support anyone else with even a tiny bit of passion.

i'd probably go to a few of the lower league games round here.

If Bolton Wanderers ceased to exist as a football team then that would be it for me. I would probably be quite well off due to the savings I would make on season tickets, away travel etc etc.

I might take in the odd conference game  now and then but I couldn't see myself following another team. It's in the blood, I am afraid.

I'd devote more time to the Sounders/MLS in general.

What, you mean you'd not go to any Bolton games any more? Blimey.

I might go to some Bury matches, but it wouldn't be the same. If an FC United sort of team was formed, I would support them.

We could look into setting up an FC Bolton, just in case things go tits up.

Dave could fund the venture, I would be manager, and one or two of the younger posters could try out for the team.

On the Bristol stool chart, what number would it be?

I don't think it should be called FC Bolton though, we don't want to copy United.

Ok, FC Whittam has a nice ring to it.

Anyway, the name is a minor detail....first we need to secure funding and a ground.

I thought Dave was an internet millionaire, surely he has adequate funds for such things?

What about Burden Aces FC? It does relate to the original team and is actually quite catchy...

I don't think you're taking this seriously.

You're present at the birth of the new powerhouse in football - show some respect.

I would either support a local non league club or try to get a new club going...

FC WANDERERS OF BOLTON anybody?

What would happen to the stadium?

Also, I would start playing or reffing Saturday afternoon football more often if I didn't go for my other choices.

By a Tractor unit and flatten the area around Burnden park and then invite all gardening Wanderers fans along to try and grow sufficient grass to either run a football team on or get wasted, whoever turns up.

Really I will just waste my money on Motorcycles, bugger I already do that..

I would be happy to volunteer my services as part of the new strike force

I already follow Schalke 04 over here in Germany, so that's the football sorted. I could go and watch 1860 Munich who are in as much financial trouble as Bolton, but to be honest I am quite happy watching the Ice Hockey aswell. My local team are in the German third division (Oberliga). Get to visit some nice towns by the Alps travelling on American style School buses that have a party bar and music onboard.

I'd be completely lost as to what to do!

I've followed the Wanderers in one way or another for just under 50 years now - so they are kind of like a part of me by now.

I couldn't follow any other club, so I'd have to wait until FC Dave Bolton Wanderers got going and support them instead.

What colour will we be playing in - will we be bringing back the navy shorts?

You are going back a bit there, Sluffy. My father told me about the navy blue shorts!
