That's the thing, even 30 is looking unlikely, Bolton have shown nothing to suggest they will, without Lee and Holden and the loss of Elmander and Sturridge's goals and assists, we are crap, we have a pathetic defence, out of form and poor full backs, we have no manager, no captain, 2 dodgy keepers, no playmaker and 2 inconsistent wingers.

We'll be down by March and then we'll see things get even worse when our debt cripples the club.

This team can't get any confidence from a victory, since Stoke, we've beat Arsenal, QPR and Wigan, all have been followed by loads of defeats, this game coming up against Stoke is a perfect opportunity to put closure on this nightmare, I doubt this group of players are capable of stopping it.

We may a few more odd rare wins here and there, but we are far weaker than the team last season and one win every month to 6 weeks will not effect our very likely outcome.

Unless a miracle happens, it'll happen,

I'm sick of your negativity. I prefered it when you told stories about frolicking with your dog in the garden.

Didledee,  On the plus side just imagine the atmosphere at the Reebok if we turn Stoke over. Revenge for the semi-final and three points on the board. That is what I am looking forward to.

Is three points in a run-of-the-mill league game really revenge for losing 5-0 in an FA Cup Semi-Final?

I don't think so.

With our current plight I think three points would be an absolute godsend. It gives us confidence to go into the international break with renewed vigour before our game against the Baggies.

Even if we beat Stoke, it'll only  be won 3 lost 8, we've had 15 games and a pre-season since Stoke to put it right, that game at Wembley was down to mistakes and Jussi letting everything in, though Stoke were obviously better and worthy winners.

I think that's an easy excuse for our form, it's more to do with the players we have, Coyle isn't the problem, he isn't the solution either, I bet he rues his luck, rues limited funds that we need to equal what we have lost because of injuries and players going back to their parent clubs and moving on.

A win will put an end to our home form, but for me it'll just be a win we'll look back on and see it has a rare one when we end up with about 30 losses and a negative goal difference of about -75

The only thing you have not mentioned is our terrible run of injuries to key players. We are all suffering at the moment. Blackburn, Wigan, Sunderland and QPR are not doing much better. A home win will lift us up and bring or Mojo back.

I think we will just scrape through six cup finals left! Wolves,Wigan and Q.P.R still for me to be relegated I do hope Liverpool and Scum don't let us down. Its going to be tight but if we dig deep we can survive,We played two games in 48 hours Spurs is postponed when is our next game.

I was starting to get optimistic with our run of 3 victories but after a terrible defeat by Fulham and a wasteful outing against Newcastle I'm worried.  OK, our run looks relatively easy, but I just don't have any confidence we can beat teams like Villa or Sunderland.

Are we going down?

I think it depends on how much our players are prepared to fight for our place in the Premier League over the next 6 games. No fight = No survival, no matter how shite we think our rivals fixtures are.

Well it's in our own hands and depends how bad the players want it.We really need to beat Swansea to put pressure on the others. We are lucky that everbody else as lost over the holidays apart from Wigan who I cant see getting anything.

Swansea and man U can do us great favour on Wednesday, I'm not sure tyat survival is in our own hands, we need other teams to help provide positive outcomes for us

I posted this elsewhere but it is applicable here, too:

Wolves have to play Wigan
Wigan have to play Wolves and Blackburn
Blackburn have to play Wigan
QPR have to play Villa
Bolton have to play Villa
Villa have to play Bolton and QPR

There are points to be dropped by the bottom six clubs just playing each other. Then add into the mix that QPR, Villa, Blackburn, Wigan and Wolves also have top 8 teams to play, We could escape relegation with a couple of wins.

Where are the wins to come from? Surely there are 6 points to be had from between Swansea, Villa, Sunderland, West Brom and/or Stoke.

I think we will need more to be guarenteed, I reckon 9 will surely be enough but 6 could leave us biting our finger nails.

For me the games against Swansea and West Brom are vital, fail to gain maximum points from those and we could be in the shíte. I wouldn't like to call the away game at Villa. Sunderland will probably dick us at the Stadium of Light. I really don't want to need a win at Stoke on the last day!

Swansea and West Brom are key to who stays up as they play Us and QPR and Swansea still have Blackburn

Cant see Wigan, no matter who well they are battling, getting more than 6 points and Wolves wont get 12.

So 6 points should do it as long as QPR and Blackburn lose their next game or two

If we go down at least we can have a clearout and attempt to build some sort of financially viable squad.

We'll take a short-term hit but being a Premier League team (with our current financial model) is only killing us slowly as it is.

Sack off everyone out of contract (apart from Ricketts)

Off: Steinsson, Robinson, Jussi, Knight, Petrov, Gardner, SKD, Klasnic, Blake, S.Davis and all the loanees.

Try to hang onto Reo-Coker and Holden (possibly Lee too)

Sack off Mark Davies and Ngog.

Bogdan, Lainton
Mears, Riley
Ream,
Wheater,
Ricketts, Alonso
Chung Yong, Eagles
Holden, Pratley
Reo-Coker, Vela
Wylde
Sordell
Someone else

Add in youth lot and obviously Muamba- who knows? Probably not as soon as next season.

Tonights results didn't help, I reckon we can beat Swansea and Villa realistically, might get something at Sunderland and WBA maybe a couple of draws. Won't get anything from Spurs or Stoke IMO.
Will we go down? the jury is out but I think we will just make it. If we do go down I think we will be there for quite a while.

If we go down we will go the way of Charlton, both Sheffield clubs, Southampton, in that we will suffer many years of hurt before we resurrect ourselves, my only hope is we don't end up as the next Portsmouth
