Last time I posted about Gardner I said he was past it and injury prone and would not last 45 minutes. I stand corrected as today he managed 47 minutes before being sent off (admittedly by that tosspot Clattenburg). Is it really better to have Gardner for 47 minutes and 10 players for the rest of the game or the useless Robinson for 90 minutes?

Coyle out!

The only thing he has over Robbo is pace IMO.

Today the ball was knocked over his head countless times in the first half and thanks to his pace he's usually able to catch up.

he was rightly sent off IMO for some stupid tackles, all because he was out of position mainly.

Ricardo Gardner has been a good servant of BWFC, Not a Legend but never the less a Good servant.
The point is he should be puttin his feet up in the Caribean or at least having the odd kick about at Harbour View or Accrington Stanley, NOT the Barclays Premier League.

Circa 2006-2007 he was one of the best players at this club but bad injuries and the passing of time catch up with the best of them.
Ricardo Gardner could retire tomorrow with his head held high but it shows how pi$$ thin our sqad is when an ageing Reggae boy is needed to run the whole of the L/S on his own.

Its gonna be a thankless task for Ian Dowie just to take us down knowing that he's out the door the following season.

Oh come on you know i'm right.

I think robbo is a good left back considering he does twice the work seen as petrov is utter bollocks.

Gardner is a tw*t and if Coyle doesn't fine him the maximum he is a fanny.

These players are being paid huge wages yet they don't have the sense to know when to challenge and when not to.
