Kevin Davies clearly cannot do it anymore, so why not Robinson?

Kevin Davies wasn't player of the year.  He was infact poor for much of last season.

Point was old players decline, he is old thus he must be declining.  Regardless of the obvious exposure by Petrov some of Robinsons basic defending is poor and he is making silly errors.

I refuse to take your opinion about anything seriously whilst you're still adamant that Owen Coyle is doing a fantastic job.

Robinson with Ricky infront would shore up the left side.

I blame the shite, lazy, prima donna Bulgar all day long for goals conceded down our left as he stands on the halfway line watching.

Except we didn't concede any goals yesterday until he was off the pitch.

Petrov isn't a perfect player but he's got pace and is willing to run at a fullback.  There hasn't been a lot of end product from this lately, but at least it take some of the pressure off.  Yesterday we just couldn't clear our lines once he had been taken off and Sunderland were always going to get a goal with the kind of pressure we were under.

When you watch on tv, like you do H.Pedersen, you don't see what's going on off the ball. Petrov fails to track back time and time again giving players on the other team far too much space. He doesn't take the pressure off us he adds to it. If he was doing some good attacking you might have a point. He's been shít going forward too though. He'd be dropped if it was up to me.

We were awful.

Passing was awful.

Midfield was awful.

Up front we were awful.

It's gonna be a long hard season, but as much as I like Coyle, had we lost 14 of the last 16 under Megson he would have probably been stoned to death outside the main entrance.

We are to easy to score against and we are offering very little going forward. Mark Davies would have made a difference yesterday, he's the only player we have who is comfortable with the ball at his feet. Everyone else seems to panic as soon as they are in possession and a bit of pressure comes in.

It needs sorting, and fast, or we could well be heading on a Championship tour next season...

Petrov had been substituted when Sunderland scored the goals. If you need to find a scapegoat about the defeat at least choose somebody who was on the pitch.

Where was I accusing him of costing us the game? I was simply pointing out how shíte he's been for us.

If you want to find something to have a go at me for at least choose something I've actually said instead of making things up.

It's all well and good having a pop at petrov but we and coyle have known from the first few games petrov arrived that he was useless at tracking back, even city fans said it when we signed him.

A good player when things are going well but aweful when the team is under pressure......yet defeat after defeat coyle still picks him.

Petrov is a luxury player - i didn't think he was quite as much of a luxury when we got him, but he is.

he needs a top top left back/right back behind him.

He gets back less than Ronaldo does its a joke.

Even "top" wingers like Bale get back; he doesn't care about bettering himself clearly, he gives it away, he huffs and puffs and stands still.

He should fúcking learn how to track back then. It's not that difficult to do but he's a lazy twat and can't be arsed. He's also a pussy who won't tackle. For the money we pay him I expect more.

Are you 'avin a bloody bubble baff? Willing to run back? Got pace? Both of those statements are completely untrue. I don't think Petrov has ever done anything when getting back to help out Robinson apart from marking the same man as Robinson, therefore leaving a man unmarked who can put a ball into the box or make a run into the box as Petrov and Robinson seem unable to grasp the concept of the sliding tackle or putting you foot in tackle, and proceed to just hold off the man so the he can have a shot where Jussi will leave his near post undefended and fall to his knees as he watches the ball go flying into the back of his net (well, it actually belongs to whoever owns the stadium, but you know what I mean). As for pace, if he has any, then he can never be bothered using it. He can't be arsed running after the ball if there is even the remotest chance that any other player could get to it before him. He is the laziest bastard ever (apart from most people on benefits). It summed it all up against Chelsea when he had a shite game and just gave up completely. He gets played thousands of pounds a day but he won't try running after the ball? Near the end, Cheque (as I like to call him) picked up the ball and threw it to Anelka. It was a shite throw and was going straight to Petrov, but he just stood there and let Anelka get it. Luckily it went out for our throw in but I nearly bust a vein from shouting at him. It is obvious H (or whatever your real name is) that you have never seen Petrov or indeed Bolton play in the person, because only somebody who has only seen us on dodgy t'internet streams would make these statements. Either go to a game or don't bother spouting out any more bullshit.

I agree with what you say about Petrov.

H.Pedersen has a decent excuse for only watching us on tv though. He lives in America.

I didn't say Petrov was willing to run back, although from the way people talk about him here you'd think we was camped out in opposition box for 90 minutes, which isn't exactly true.

I said he was willing to run at defenders when he has the ball.

I don't agree he hardly ever takes a man on.

if he does he usually pushes it down the line and loses it.

Kakuta took his man on twice on sat and beat him twice.

despite playing out of position on the right.
