That was f*****g awful today. How does Robinson keep his place every week, today 24,000 people could see how shíte a left back he is and a footballer in general but how come the man in charge keeps picking him. Also is that the worst midfield we've ever had,the 4 in there today were diabolical, how Mark Davies can't get into that side is unbelieveable and not even going there with K.Davies.COYLE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there anyone left in the 'Coyle In' camp?

Can anyone remember such a pitiful home display under any Bolton manager? No passion, no ideas, no creativity.

Coyle must go, he has lost the players and only some new ideas from a new man can keep us up.

I have about 1% of the passion i had under BSA.

I just have an empty feeling.

My word that was depressing, I thought at half time there could only be an improvement and there was......from sunderland but it was even worse on our part in the 2nd half.

I lost all hope when it was 0-0 and kakuta a left winger was on the right and eagles who is a right winger was on the left, talk about unbalance and to top it off robbo was at right back!

It has got to a point now where the board have got to sit down and draw up a list of names of managers who they think could do the job and just how longer they are going to keep coyle in the job before they say enough is enough, personally I think if it was up to gartside, coyle would still be here next season regardless but I think the likes of eddie davies will over rule him long before that and sack him.

My opinion and in-depth analysis is as follows:

THAT WAS fcuking shíte.

If we dare play like that against Stoke then I don't even want to be there.

That was easily the worst home performance I've seen since the Sammy Lee era.

Utterly clueless and couldn't even string more than 2 passes together.

Coyle is largely to blame but why was virtualy every player so so inept?

It says something when U get beat 2-0 at home and your keeper is Motm

Robinson was his useless self and gave away their first goal. Wheater and Cahill were reasonable at the back, but the rest were dog-sh1te. Something very badly has gone wrong in the dressing room and it's ultimately Coyle's fault. We have a sh1te keeper and sh1te left back who play every week and he gets outdone on his tactics every week. Therefore we'll always struggle.

Midfield struggle to win the ball and when they do they give it away more often than not. You're lucky if you get more than 1 half decent game out of Petrov and Eagles in 5 matches. Davies looks like he's gone into early retirement and the other strikers can't finish.

It's a disgrace as they are all paid well enough but perform like they don't give a toss.

It's depressing to even think it but there's only one way we're going...

It's the worst performance since the Chelsea one.

first half we weren't rank bad just really really devoid of any creativity.

second half was just rotten.

Sunderland wanted to win; our players just wanted the earth to swallow them. Gutless pure and simple.

The players need to grow a pair and put some effort in. At the moment it's as if they don't give a toss(which they probably don't).

And how you all change after a defeat.

All the same people who said we shouldn't change a winning side are the quickest ones on here with the Coyle bashing for picking the players you all wanted.

I don't mind you having an opinion but at least follow through with it.
It's getting boring now seeing people's opinions formed purely on the basis of which way the points went in our most recent game.

My 11 would have won today.

Not if it had included any of Robinson, Gardner, Petrov, Eagles, SKD or Pratley.
And even Kakuta & Tuncay are short of match practise and decent form (on what little we've seen of them).

On today's evidence Gardner wouldn't be any better.  Some really bad errors.

According to MOTD, we are now the only team in the whole of the football league who haven't picked up a point at home. For some reason, this made me chuckle. It just goes to show how shite we are.

It was Robinson's awlful header that lead to the first goal.I thought the game is to head it out of the goal area not back in it. He should never play in a white shirt again  Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

Here's my ratings....

Jussi - 5 made 1 decent save and had little else to do other than pick the ball out the net twice. It was his shíte pass that resulted in Boyata getting injured.

Robinson - 3 bad day again for Robbo. His header for the Sunderlands first goal was defending at it's worst.

Wheater - 6.5 decent performance like last week. My man of the match.

Cahill - 5 not his best game.

Boyata - 6 was playing alright until he got injured.

Petrov - 4 another shíte game from the pussy. Not good enough.

Pratley - 4 should've equalised before they got the second goal. Not good enough.

Reo Coker - 5 made a few tackles but struggled to do anything else.

Eagles - 5 poor performance after last weeks man of the match performance. Not good enough.

Davies - 4 bad game and rightly taken off. Not good enough.

Ngog - 5 had no service all game.

Kakuta - 5 didn't do much after coming on. Doesn't help when he's on the wrong wing.

Klasnic - 5 never got into the game after coming on.

Gardner - 4 gifted Sunderland the 2nd goal by not being able to kick the ball far enough.

Owen Coyle - 2 as bad as Sammy Lee and Gary Megson. If not worse.

Very poor result. You know, I really want(ed) Owen Coyle to succeed here. He was a popluar player back in the day, and he comes across as a very nice guy.

However; that doesn't mean he should be our manager. Nice Guys just don't work in football. You need to have that discipline and order, and I don't see that in Owen Coyle, or our team.

It's a real shame, but I think that he has to go.

I would not say all but my biggest fear is that most of them do not care.

At the end of yesterdays game fans seemed to be shuffling quietly away in some form of acceptance of yet another loss.

I prefer it when the booing starts, at least it shows some kind of anger and passion.

I think people were just dumbstruck about how bad we were, booing didn't quite seem enough somehow.

I ended up being one of the last out of my section cos I just stood there for about 5 minutes after the final whistle watching the Sunderland players celebrating and their fans going wild. I did notice Paul Robinson applaud all the sections of the home support like he always does but there was virtually nobody there by that point so I wondered if it was sarcastic applause.

Yes I noticed there was no booing. That was how poor the atmos was yesterday. We couldn't even raise a boo. It frustrated me in the second half when I tried to get something going passion wise by shouting loudly and people kept turning round looking at me like I should quietly applaud. Natasha, was it you?

perfectly summed up.

Go down if you have to but go down fighting.

they can't even be arsed and im sure they all swapped shirts at the end had a good laugh and a few beers with their sunderland chums, hopped in the BMW and went back to their mansions, for a quick glug of cristal and a cigar, shagged a few high price call girls and retired to a king size bed. In the morning they downed a couple of shots of vodka a sniff of coke and went in for training.

which was probably cancelled cos coyle wants them to "take their medicine"
