Buying tickets beforehand is for gayers. The cool folk pay on the day.

We'll still take more there than they'll bring to the Reebok.

I was in the club shop earlier. The nice looking girl served me, nobody was buying tickets then.

Bit of a drop for our closest rivals.

Just shows how down most are about the start to the season.

Don't we normally take around 5,000?

I'd love to, but as I start work at 3pm on Saturday it sort of might prove a bit difficult.

It's a pain if you try and buy a ticket at the ground. The queue last season was a joke.

I take it you meant he FA cup game last season when they had something like 2 turnstiles open for us and I think some missed kick off they took that long.

I never think it's a bad thing to miss half the game in Bolton and Wigan matches. Last away one I went to was Megson's great triumph just after Lisbon when all our fired up and refreshed first teamers lost to 10 men Wigan, and even Heskey scored.

Weststander, I have still have nightmares about that game. It ranks as possibly my worst ever game, so bad that I vowed never to return to the land of pies again. What really topped the day off was when we tried to get back in Spoons after the game, only to discover there was a 2 hour lockdown and you couldn't get in any pubs in the whole town centre!!

That prick Megson should have been fired after that game. I drove straight back down the M6, feck knows how I concentrated as I was steaming all the way. Wasnt their bloke sent off really early, cant remember what for though?

In the very first minute, and he was one of thier best midfielders at the time, can't remember his name now so obviously he weren't that good.

I always said if that had been a home game then smeggo would have gone a hell of a lot sooner than he did.

Fair play to the Bolton fans, there were plenty there and they made some noise.

Some Wigan fan behind me kept shouting in the direction of the Bolton fans, SIT DOWN YOU FAT BASTARDS. It did make me chuckle.
