Bolton Wanderers have announced that all away fans attending the derby game against Wigan Athletic this weekend will qualify for free travel when the club play their first-ever Premier League match in Wales against Swansea City later in the month.

All supporters need to do is simply retain and present their Wigan Athletic ticket stub along with a valid Swansea City match ticket to claim their free place on the Official Travel Club, worth £25.

Loads more details about it here -

I'd rather they gave me £25 and I'll make my own way there.

Still a decent offer by the club though.

I was seriously toying with the idea of going to Swansea but £35 a ticket is a bit much. However, if it is free travel then I think it's a good deal. I had Ruth on the coach to Arsenal so hopefully there will be more than two coach loads will take up this offer.

The last time I went on a club coach was when we won 3-1 at Arsenal in the FA Cup back in the 90's.

I really don't fancy several hours on a coach rubbing shoulders with Turkey or Chicken or any other of the BWFC "characters".

I was downwind from Frank once at an away game & can verify he doesn't use deodrant. That'd be a long trip if you were on the same coach as him.

Frank is nearly always on Coach 1. Leave your booking till the week before and you should be safe. I was on Coach 1 with Frank at Spurs away last season. He decided to go for a number two on the coach khazi and ended up pebble dashing the porcelain and stinking the place out.

I would have loved to have seen that.
