I thought it was a bit harsh of people to boo one of our own players when he gets given man of the match. Fair enough, he aint my favourite player, but it's not his fault some numpty decided to pick him and read his name out for the motm.
It wasn't just one or two boos either, it was all over the stadium.
Also, there was an awful lot of booing when Ngog's number came up to be subbed off. I think everyone wanted to see Ngog stay on and possibly have a bit more assistance up top but it didn't happen. I felt like the fans were booing Coyle's decision making more than anything at the time.
There was quite a bit of booing for Bogdan too when he scored all those own goals and an ironic cheer when he made an easy save after that.
So what will Coyle do now? Is he going to start Davies for the next game? Will Bogdan stay in? (very Jussi type errors).

I think it was more of a case of booing Coyle's decision making and also the MOTM decision when it clearly should have been Ngog.
Just unfortunate really. I thought KD had a good first half, half decent 15 mins of second half, and then absolutely nothing after that, like he had given up.
Bogdan's performance was just way too inept for a premiership keeper. He's clearly not up to the job, he should have been chomping at the bit to play well and establish the number 1 spot.
Lofty the lion would have done a better job,, mind you, looks-wise there's not much difference.

if you play shite for weeks and weeks and weeks - Months you deserve it.
yes if you win 5 on the spin and have a draw and some cock is booing then fair do's but they deserve it.

From what, I could tell, in my area of the stadium, we were boing the fact that Petrov didn't go off. It didn't make much difference anyway because Eggnog did fcuk all anyway IMO.

I'm surprised just how good his hold up play is actually... he's slight and tall but holds it up better than Davo. He's got a bit of drive he played alright today. Best of a very bad bunch.

I was one of those booing at the decision to sub Ngog and Ricardo...but after a moment I realised that maybe there was some logic there... I thought Ngog and Ricardo were two of our better performers on the day - the game was lost, they were both injured recently, so who do you sub? The two players you want on your team sheet next time, or the ones who are your second choice? (Having said that...I've just realised that we don't have a match for a fortnight now...so rest / protection from injury maybe isn't an issue) I thought KD played as well as he has done for the first 60 mins...and Petrov was lost out on the right...anyway... p.s. Couldn't bring myself to go for the "Come on you whites" at 4-0 down... |

I lead the chorus of boos for both for the following reasons:
1) I was not booing K Davies himself I was booing the clown in the corporate box that made this decision - I remember feeling at the time it was like they were taking the piss out of the fans.
2) I was booing taking gardner off who in my opinion was our best player and to take off your best player deserves a boo.

So will Davies start after his chat with the BN - and will that chat make any difference? He always seems to pop up with an interview when his personal chips are down.
I am team Captain. I will work harder. I was playing consistently. I will make sure the team stick together. Etc etc. You are defo plugging yourself there Kevin. And. I think it is naughty. If Coyle keeps picking KD ahead of Ngog I think the fans will react badly. Same too if he picks Ngog and Davies with Davies playing wide. Same too if he continues to play 442 and we keep losing.
Klasnic is now back too and we have the services of Kakuta to play wide. So for me Davies is moving even further down the pecking order and he knows it.
