Was it really a red card offence?

At the time I thought Wheater had proper took Walcott out.

Watching it again today it doesn't look like he touches him.

FĂșcking cheating Arsenal twat. As usual.

There was a tiny touch on his shoulder as they crossed paths, he felt it and went down.

same was said by Sol Campbell and Paul Ince on the Goals on Sunday.

they said players like Messi stay up and score goals and it was disappointing to see him go down so easy.

He was the last man, he made contact and it was a red card.

It was soft ref card though.

Another man sent off.  Angry

I wouldn't have given a red card for that in real time.
I can see a case for it but it was a soft one imho.

I would have given play on with Jussi having the ball.

And while we are on the subject... Klasnic got a red for his non-headbutt - Van Persie did exactly the same to a Bolton player when there was that bit of a face off. MOTD didn't show it, never mind discuss it, they also didn't talk about the weak red card.

I mentioned the Van Persie head butt in a different thread. I didn't see it at the game but it was mentioned on the radio on the way home. What did he do jayjay?

I only saw the aftermath where Van Persie was saying he would fight the whole team.

He was surrounded by a bunch of Bolton players, about 4 of them. Initially Percy just tried to stand his ground but seemed to get even more wound up and did an almost carbon copy of the Klasnic "headbutt". There was minimal contact and I can't remember who it was aimed at but the only thing different was that our payer didn't roll around on the floor holding his face.

If I had to choose which was the worst offence out of his and Klasnic's I would say Percy's was 5% worse. Simply because it looked more aggressive, if only slightly.

Walcott went down easily but Wheater gave him an excuse to do so.  Stupid.

He touched Pratley's head.  The only difference between that and the Klasnic sending off is that Pratley didn't go down like he'd been shot.  Play acting should be instant red card and 10 match ban IMO.

Not worth a red. Walcott is a trash player. He has always said to have "bags of potential", problem is that the only thing he is ever going to have is "potential".

Walcott is a pussy, was with my Arsenal buddies after the game in the boozer and after initially defending him they all said he went down because he thought Jussi was favourite and felt the touch. The game has gone soft IMHO, Wheater should have picked him up by his collar and snotted the pussy.

Van rapist er Persie would never headbutt anyone as he would be out the game injured for 10 weeks.
