I was going to go Jussi because he's shite and keeps costing us games but then I decided it was Coyle's fault for keep picking him.

It's hard to say, they were all shite. Reo-Coker was, once again, the only player who looked like he could be arsed, to me.

I must admit though it finally dawned on me how past it KD is, he was absolutely dreadful when he came on.

To be fair to Jussi that near post thing aside he made countless saves today keeping us "in the game"

it could have been 10-0.

but thats goalkeepers one mistake is remembered.

I said it in the other thread, so didn't want it to seem like I was ranting. When N'gog had to go off with that injury, I didn't mind Davies being the one to come on; however, Davies is not N'gog. He isn't that quick so he harrasses defenders, like someone who is quik (i.e. N'gog) would do. So, we need to play someone off Davies. We either needed to push Pratley up to support Davies or take Pratley / Muamba off, and play Kakuta just off him.

As it was, he did neither and we were overwhelmed. And that's the last thing we want to do against Arsenal.

So yeah, that's why I picked him.

You're not wrong we were way too deep.

You can hear every time theres a clearance someone screaming "Out! Out!" and guess what the players dont move an inch.

wtf was Steinsson doing for the goal making a tackle in the centre circle? Is he fcuking mental?

I missed the first half as I had to make an unplanned visit to the vets.

Based on the second half, I voted Jaaskelainen, Wheater and K Davies.

Jaaskelainen for being beaten at the near post for the first goal, Wheater for doing his usual shirt pull trick to get himself sent off, and K Davies for being ineffective.

Kevin Davies was ineffective due to the system being played. He won more than his fair share of the ball but his knockdowns went straight to Arsenal players every single time. He's crap, but not all his fault this time.

It's difficult to pick just 3 from that car-crash, but I'll go Coyle, Coyle and Coyle.

Coyle for his team selection and then his tactics after Ngog had to go off. He's a clueless cĂșnt when something goes wrong. Can he not think of something once the game kicks off? Sort it out Owen.

I openly admit to being obsessed with Owen Coyle.

I'm convinced this is some kind of TV show where they send a complete amateur to do a professional's job. It really is the only logical reason why Coyle is so clueless.

1.Kevin Davies

2.Jaaskelainen

I fully agree with the voters. The goalkeeper messed up on the goal that broke the deadlock but once Ngog went off we might as well  have well have played with nothing up front.Davies was garbage as he was against Norwich.

Dunno what's up with Davo at the moment. We all know he gets zero protection off refs and puts up with being kicked all day by defenders but he hasn't looked the same player recently. Maybe he's fed up with the criticism he gets within football so he's trying to change his game or possibly pressure of the captaincy has got to him.

If we are to get out of this mess then I think he's still our best bet to do that with the goals he scores and creates. If I were Coyle I'd send him on a break between now and the Wigan game to see if that will help restore the old Kev we know and love.

Sadly, I think the age side of things is starting to catch up with him.
