We have been beaten by Arsenal at the Emirates by Arsenal like we always tend to do whilst we have also played 4 of last seasons top 6 so far, so lets get an extra large shipment of rat poison and kill ourselves.

Well I think the Norwich game just showed with the team that played is just not good enough for the Premier. So who's fault is it Coyle's or the players,I think Coyle's for his tactic's and being to loyal to some players.Knight as captain today, say no more.

We had lost 3 on the bounce prior to that so it is always going to hard to pick yourself up after that easy game or not.

I think with our squad we shouldn't get relegated.
I'd be interested to know what tactical moves Coyle made when Ngog came off - if he just did a straight swop and thus lost our speed up front - then it would have been a clear singnal to Wenger that we were no longer looking to score from open play and thus allow him to push his players more forward and begin to pen us in our own half.
Hopefuly Mr Coyle would have known that would happen and countered it by playing someone - Pratley perhaps behind Davies as a deeper attacker 4-4-1-1 sort of formation.
Keeping a 4-5-1 formation with only the speed of Davies up front would have been a tactical disaster may as well play 4-6-0 if that was the case.

Yeah, I agree Sluffy. The last thing we want to do against Arsenal, is give them the ball back straigh away. Which we did, sadly, time and time again, when Davies came on.
I don't think that was a good decision at all. Atleast push one of the existing midfielders up to support Davies or take Prately off and put Kakuta just behind Davies up top.

the confidence must be shot now, also when you are down at bottom nothing goes your way, its gonna be very difficult now to get any kind of win against anybody, but if we are bottom after 10 games then think we are fooked

5 of last seasons top 6 in our first 7 games, its not coyle its not the players its the fixture computers fault. The spuds have climbed the table as quickly as we've slipped down it. The Norwich game was a bad blip, we will beat sides outside the top six and climb the table. Up the Wanderers

No; surprisingly enough, sure you knew that though. They're not easy either Wigan away? Not easy. Sunderland? Not easy. Swansea away? They will want to win that and then Stoke.... oh dear.

None of those are Barca but they are teams we can beat and should not fear so no reason to start hacking at your wrists just yet.

I know what your saying and i shouldn't feel this low after a 3-0 loss at Arsenal but I'm just getting the feeling thats its not gonna be our season. Injuries, red cards, key players past their best, Burnley rejects, lazy Bulgarians, soft arse scouse rejects, Cahill mystery illness, Zat Knight (if he's captain material then i'm the next prime minister), seriously where are the positives Owen cos if there are any I can't see them?
That was a piss poor Arsenal team today and we got dicked 3-0.

If you look at the predictions about the results given our opening fixtures then this is no more than most of us expected.
Get Chelsea out of the way and start playing with our heads up again mid October and it will be business as usual.
Onwards and upwards (because we certainly can't get any fúcking lower).

Negative, I'm not so sure, wanker yes, but Coyle will relegate us this season, his bollox dropped today by picking his favourites again, Robinson v Gardner no contest, Coyle is clueless, and desreves fcuking off, as an aside of course your a wanker

It's going to be very tough. The so called easier fixtures coming up are anything but that. Swansea away is an unkown but they will be thinking 3 points for them I am sure. The others, Wigan, Stoke and Sunderland are all tough fixtures. I think 7 points from those 4 fixtures would be a very good return. That would put us on 10 points from 11 games (assuming we lose against Chelsea). Still very much relegation form.

It's not just that we're losing every game. It's the way we're losing them. No spirit or fight in the team anymore. They're all fúcking cúnts who deserve shít sending to them in the post.
Sort it out you wánkers or we will go fúcking down. Twats!!!!!!!!!!

Too true, you look at the ways teams like Fulham and Stoke lose to the top teams, they have a go, put up a fight and don't let there heads drop. We concede 1 and all hell breaks loose.

What a load of tosh! We have the players to do well this season. If we played the team and system we put out against Villa every week, we'd be top 10 no problem. Sooner or later it will happen and there'll be happy bunnies all over the shop.

I'm generally fairly positive but I'm starting to get a bit nervous. I feel like we have a lot of players who are getting past it (K. Davies, Robinson, Steinsson, Knight, Jussi) and a lot of players who have never really shown they can cut it at Premier League level (Mears, Ngog, Eagles, Kakuta, Muamba, M. Davies, Bogdan, Pratley, Alonso, etc). Reo-Coker and Klasnic will be useful but I think only Petrov, Holden, and Cahill really excel at this level and that scares the crap out of me.
I guess after 10 years in the richest league in the world, I feel the team should be more impressive than it is.

Pretty much my feelings. In the 90s, after two one-season Premiership stays, I imagined that if only we could survive in the Prem for 2-3 seasons we would have started buidling a long-term squad. Sam bought us that time, but went for older foreign stars who gave us 4-5 fantastic seasons. Sadly there was little younger strength in the squad when he left. Lee, Megson & Coyle have been fire-fighting since then. And we're around £90m in debt. What's there not to be scared about.
