Bolton are famous for buying misfiring strikers. Is Ngog going to be another one?

When will he score his first goal for Bolton and who against?

I think he may have already scored for the second team

Yes he has scored for the reserves but it doesn't count. Incidentally it was against Arsenal reserves where he and Tuncay rescued a 3-3 draw. Tuncay scored twice.

He scored twice in that reserve game, with Tuncay netting the other. So he has already scored his first Bolton goals.

I also didn't realise we were "famous for buying misfiring strikers", either. Examples please?

This poll is pretty negative about a lad who hasn't started a PL game for us yet. I thought he did well against Norwich, although I didn't see the Villa game.

I agree it is highly critical of a promising player but could I submit an entry for misfiring strikers? Our record signing?

Yeah I guess Elmander counts as misfiring, and Dean Holdsworth as well. Struggling to think of many more strikers we have bought in the PL era who fit that description. Everyone signs a dud striker every few years.

I fancy Ngog to score tomorrow.

We should do a poll: Who hates polls?
